The next peeve still had to do with emails. I clean my box out every night and when I get home from work I have 139 emails that start out FW. I don't even read those either just erase. If I send someone a joke or whatever I copy and paste in a new email. One last thing, how can I stop the spam mail that fills my junk mailbox?? In 4 days I didn't check my email I had 1189 emails...It's out of control....and so am I...I'm through. I feel better, thanks.:-)

Hi, SweetTexasLady! Hey..if you feel better..that's half the battle. I do the same when occasionally sending on something in an e-mail. Somehow it seems lazy to me to just click "Forward" and off it goes, no e-mails stripped out and often with a bunch of forward marks here and there throughout the body of the e-mail. When the thing has been forwarded numerous times, it can get pretty messy. I use a free program called eCleaner that cleans up all that mess and then I copy/paste the cleaned-up version back into an e-mail to send on. About all that spam? Hm..I use the Yahoo webmail, mostly because sbcglobal (which is connected to Yahoo) is my DSL service and so that became my primary e-mail address back when I got DSL. I used to use Outlook Express which had loads of ways to block or filter out all that garbage mail. But after having one or more computer crashes and losing all my mail past, present, sent, saved..the works, I'm paranoid now so I ONLY use the webmail. That way nothing is actully stored on my pc and no matter what happens here at home, I can pull it all up anytime, anywhere. The drawback is, at least with the basic version (not sure if it's any better with the Plus service..but who has the money to put out for that?) the spam filter mostly just puts stuff in my junk folder...and yep, Marty's right, it can make mistakes so I have to look down the list before I delete just in case. Very tedious! Oh, well..such is the internet..an amazing tool that can drive us crazy at the same time. LOL

PET PEEVES what's yours and how can we help with
You know, I am like the king of Peeveville (no it is not a town located in Podunk South Dakota either and Buick doesn't make it either) I have files upon files of Pet Peeves and it is always best to get something out there that... well peeves ya, it's somewhat like taking the monkey off your shoulders and allowing it to jump on another’s back, I will explain further... Say you dislike nasty overbearing cell phone tones and in the gawl awfulest places to hear it... Restaurant, Church, you know the list goes on... So you bring it up and someone adds to it and has more to say about it... well the monkey is now off your back an living on there's, kind of like the card game....what am I looking for....YEAH!! Screw your Neighbor...But, you really are not playing cards and the Neighbor is really not being taken advantaged of... it's just a way to get your peeve re-located... What’s your Peeve I will trade mine for yours...
