Update on my Mom...
I want to thank everyone for the many prayers for my mom. Living three hundred miles away from her I knew something was wrong when I couldn't reach her by phone. I called her neighbor to go check on her. He found her un-responsive and on the floor. The doctor said she had bleeding on her brain and it had invaded her spinal tissue. He was talking about a neuro surgeon inserting a tube. My mom has a heart condition and I knew her chances of surviving were slim. The doctor called me this morning and said she has made a remarable recovery. At noon today the nurse said she was doing all the things she should be doing like squezzing her hand. She also said she wanted to sleep alot, but that was the only thing she noticed maybe she shouldn't be doing so much of. Her neighbor called me and said he doesn't think she's doing as well as he would like to see her doing.

Please keep her in your prayers that she recovers...

My prayers continue for her recovery!!! She has been thru the surgery and made it! What a blessing. Praying her recovery will go as well. There is nothing more powerful than the power of prayer!! Hugs, BARB

She had a good night and is eating. They think she may have had a stroke. She had a little dementia before she went to the hospital. The doctor was glad we told him this so they wouldn't think a stroke causes it. They haven't determined yet if it was a stroke or from a fall. I think she fell, because she has a history of that. They asked her who the President was. She said, Bush! She said I have a signed picture of him . They looked at her kinda funny like she didn't know what she was talking about. Lucky for her someone was in the room visiting and they spoke up and said, yes she does. My mom has always been interested in politics. lol! She has all her marbles! You go mom!
