From Crystin
POSTED BY: Crystin on Mar 05, 2008 Posted in Healings and Feelings Prayer for my Mom and Dad My Mom just got of the hospital for her heart and now has a stent, but keeps on letting me know that she wants to die and the doctor told her - she could live another 5 yrs or more. She sees what is happening in the world and she doesn't want to see what is going to happen to her children or society if something isn't done or people don't stand up for this country. I really can't blame her, but it hurts my Dad when she talks that way, for he wants to be here, when or if the you-know-what hits the fan. He loves his family and feels it is his responsible to protect us even today. He is my hero, big time and even more since seeing in 2004, the WWII Memorial Celebration with him. My only wish, to be the hero he is to me, for my daughter and that I'll be able to protect those I love when my parents are gone with such dignity, love and honor like he has. And not fail my ancestors of the past, for they went through hell and back and became United States citizens, who loved and fought for this country from way back from the Civil War to WWII. My Dad went to the hospital today for a bad hip and is getting steroids for the pain, and at 82 may be going into the hospital, if this doesn't help his hip pain, for a operation, which I'm wary of, since he had a heart attack afew years back on of all days "Father's Day". I always think that in this society there are people who could care less for my parents and worried that the doctors will just say the hell with it - when I still want them around to live the life they lead which is fun, enlightening, friends who love them and still go out dancing with and golf with - do things for others every few weeks and my Dad is still working. They are still leading productive lifes and now have a great grandson who loves them and smiles at them. You should see the wonder my parents have on their face - the love they show and the tears on their face whenever my daughter and her husband with their son & their dog arrive at their home. It makes me cry inside. So please include my parents in your prayers. Thank you!
