Put Your Faith In God
When the Phillistines invaded the land of Israel, their champion, Goliath, taunted the israelites. Saul and his entire army were terrified-but not David. He knew that Jehovah was the one to be feared, not any man, no matter how powerful. With his sling and a single stone-and with God's help-Davis struck down the giant. (1 Samuel 17:4-10, 48-50)
We may be facing obstacles or enimies no less daunting than those confronted by David. What can we do? We can deal with them in the same way as David and other faithful ones of old did-walk with godly fear. The fear of God can overpower the fear of man.
Nehemiah told his fellow Israelites, who were under pressure from opposers: "Do not be afraid on their account. God the great and fear-inspiring One keep in your mind."-Nehemiah 4:14.

Thanks Junie, You made a good point that we need to fear God and not man. I do not know how important this idea is, BUT to me it's very important. LUV, Mary Lou
