Prayers are needed.
Say a prayer for my son-in-laws brother and wife - their baby the doctor told them has a skull - but half a brain and no skin protecting it. My Daughter called and said that his wife is going to come down to a great hospital here in Wisconsin and going to get a second opinion, which is a good thing to do.
I told my daughter who called me to ask what she should say - I told her to say this was a shock and that she would say a prayer for them and the baby. What can you say? Hope that the doctor is wrong and the second opinion is better news.
This couple are great people and prayers for them are needed big time.

Yes, God bless the baby too.
I'm in shock right now - for they did everything right for this baby. I found out that 1 out of 1000 have this happen. God bless the baby and have a miracle happen!

My prayers are with YOU all
Hey I just read the most recent updates. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of YOU who have cancer and for the baby. I did not realize there are so many babies with only 1/2 their brain when they are born. I FEEL compassion for these people and I have BUNCHES of love for you all!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Mary Lou

Sad news!
The baby had to be aborted for the scans - those pictures painted a awful scene and the baby had no brain just 1/2 a skull. The mother and father are having a tough time of it - but remain strong for each other - which is a blessing.
If the baby would have gone full term like that - the Mom would have died at birth (bled out)- my daughter who is a nurse told me. I'm only hoping they find out why this happened and if they have another - this doesn't happen again.
My prayers go out to them!
