I will get to it as soon as possible. I have written down the instructions and I want to say a special thank you for typing it all up. Hopefully sometime this week I can get a photo up!!! Kat

Still trying
I am still trying to get a photo posted. I am evidentally doing something wrong, since others can do it, but it just hasn't worked for me yet. Don't give up on me please. Kat

Problems
I have tried so many times to post a photo of mine. The problem is my computer. If I am logged onto this site and then go over to log on to photobucket, photobucket takes over myboomer or vise verse. So I can't post. I have asked my partner to post from his computer but he is a busy man and who knows when he will get around to it. lol. So until I find out what is wrong with my computer I can only post into the gallery. Kat

Kat, do you use Internet Explorer? Do you have problems with other websites when you try to click on a link? Usually you should be able to have several browsers open at one time. If you can't maybe you should try another browser, like Mozilla Foxfire. All you need to do is google it and then follow their instructions to download it. I hear from others that there are less popups and it's easier to navigate the web with Foxfire. But I have had problems with boomerplace anyway so it might just be this site. Sometimes I get kicked off without doing anything out of the ordinary! If you have pictures uploaded into your photobucket account you ought to be able to copy the url and then log out of photobucket and log back in here and then paste it into a reply using the HTML guide above the message box. Just be patient and eventually it should work for you one way or another! Don't feel like a dummy either, I already claimed that title long ago! If I didn't have a computer saavy daughter to help me I wouldn't know half of what I know!

Fix Pictures
|

I love my digital camera and usually the pictures turn out great, sometimes forget to set all the settings the way I want before I take the picture... then I have to fix them.

Bonnie, what program do you use to fix your pictures? Just curious to see if others are using photoshop or just the software that comes with their camera. I have a decent photo editing program that came with the printer I use, it's HP so it is limited to fixing some contrast, resolution, size and red eye. But photoshop has so many ways to adjust color and all the other things that need adjusting that I hardly even think to use the hp editor anymore!

Digital Photography
Just wondered if anyone has an interest in digital photography? I have a point and shoot Sony w/5.1 megapixels that I would like to do more with, but haven't really gotten into it yet. I've had some decent success with it, just not happy with the color unless I take it into photoshop to "fix" it. Here is an example... This is the before picture, not bad... I like this one better with the background softened...didn't do that great of a job at photoshopping around the seed, but it was still new to me...I'm a little better now. But I think I could do better without having to doctor them up. Any suggestions?

Mamma...I have Foxfire and it's great, but yes I have the problem with other sites. I didn't used to but I do now. I can post a photo fine going directly from my pictures into the Gallery part of myboomer. Since my friend has no problems and most every one else has no problem it has got to be my computer or a bug I picked up, but I do use several cleaners and none have detected a bug on my computer. Not that that means anything. I don't use photoshop by the way. I use a free photo program that was sent to me by a dear friend in another country. It works well enough for me and my needs at the moment. Thanks for trying to help. Kat
