Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! It’s only 41 here this morning. Little too chilly for me to go fishing. Though it’s supposed to get up to 68 today and that may be perfect. I just don’t like to go on weekends, everyone else goes too!! Weekdays are much less crowded and more peaceful. But then, it’s supposed to rain tomorrow and Tuesday so not sure. Finally went fishing yesterday! Should have stayed home! I think everyone else around that fishes decided to do soalso. Lake was crowed, winds were terrible, and I spent the whole day trying to avoid all those waves! The few spots where the wind wasn’t affecting the fishing were already taken by the time I got there at 9. Guess I’ll have to get there a lot earlier next time! As I was getting ready to leave, spotted a little dog wandering around the parking lot. No home close where he could have wandered away from, He looked like a long haired Chihuahua and when I picked him up he was so skinny there was no stomach to him. It was like holding a rib cage with no meat on him! I couldn’t drive away and leave him there, so I drove the 16 miles to the local animal shelter up there. The lake is 35 miles from me, and had to hunt where theirs was! Sure hope they find him a good home! So even though fishing was bad, I feel good about the day. I saved a little guy!!
