Sweetie!

Could you be the one?

I've tried to be everything you desired...

MUAH!

Love always, Annette, "That's All!"

Annette Hanshaw sings "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" (from
"Blackbirds of 1928") on Harmony 706. It was recorded on July 24, 1928.

I can't give you anything but love, baby.
That's the one thing I've got plenty of, baby.
Dream awhile, scheme a while--you're sure to find
Happiness and I guess all those things you always pine for.

Gee, it's nice to see you looking swell, baby--
Diamond bracelets Woolworth's doesn't sell, baby.
Till the lucky day you know darn well, baby,
I can't give you anything but love.

"I Can't Give You Anything but Love" is by Jimmy McHugh (music) and
Dorothy Fields (lyrics). It was introduced by Adelaide Hall at Les
Ambassadeurs Club in New York in January 1928 in Lew Leslie's Blackbird
Revue, which opened on Broadway later that year as Blackbirds of 1928.
