I think I have had one of the best Saturdays of my entire life....maybe one of the best days yet. I awoke this morning to a beautiful day filled with sunshine and nice temperatures. Got dressed went to the dollar store, picked up a few things, called my daughter n law that I adore, talked to her for awhile, sent my granddaughter a mushy "grandma loves ya" card. Cleaned house, cooked a nice dinner, ate, took a bath, put on some make-up fixed my hair and went for a nice long walk, theres a really nice greenway down below me and I have never explored it, today Kitty and I made our way down and did some exploreing. it was so fun, that goofy Kitty following me like a dern dog! We walked down to Indian Creek and had a look around, it was peaceful and quiet and all we saw were some birds scurrying about. We wandered around for a couple hours just exploreing our new terrain. I was smileing and singing to myself on the walk back....it was so relaxing and peaceful, really really enjoyed it.

Good Morning from North Alabama! What a Beautiful Day it has turned out to be, Abundant Sunshine and temps in the 40's. What a great day to be alive! I recently was toying with the idea of leaveing "myboomerplace" because of struggleing with the aspect of getting people to participate in groups, as Head of a group it is a daily struggle to keep up with interesting and meaningful things to post, it takes the pressure off a bit when the members of that group, post and reply with topics of their own. I must say I was feeling bored and a bit put out. I sent a message to a friend of mine asking him his opinion, I liked what he wrote back and it helped me to make-up my mind about what it is "I" "ME" "NAILZ" wants from myboomerplace. It is important to me to have a quiet corner of the Internet to come to, and read post's and Blog's that other people have written, it is Important to me to have a page that I can embellish with all my do-dahs, graphic's, pictures, music, things that I feel give the viewer an idea of who "I" am. It is very important that in order to do this I do not have to be a "Computer Physicist's" Therefore it must be easy! I am here for my own entertainment and to meet new people and expose myself to something other than my ordinary life, I like looking at your pages and learning something about you. I like shareing with you "what" is going on in my life and hopefully get a few cyber-hugs now and again. I get all this and more from myboomerplace, so I guess myself and my friend answered the question for me....I like it and I am staying!

I awoke this morning to a world that had been dusted with a light snow. I was amazed as I looked out and saw the accumulation on the rooftops! Everything seemed to be so quiet, as if nature had paused in the midst of its dusting. I stood and looked out for a long time, reveling in the woder of it. I felt that my senses had been renewed gazing at the beauty of it.

I came back in the house not realizeing how a snowy day had set the tone of the Peace and Happiness that was filling up my insides. I flew through my housework, singing softly to myself and thanking God for the opportunity to make my wood floors shine. Funny, I usually gripe and moan with that chore, but this morning I stood back and appreciated the clean shiny wood. I found myself through in a couple of hours and able to sit back and enjoy looking at the fruits of my labor, the house sparkled and the pot roast was simmmering on the stove filling every room with the wonderful smells of the garlic, pepper and onion. Yum! add a few potatoes and carrots and supper is done. Now what do I do with the rest of the day.....
