I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life. I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life..' I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
A snowy hello from Colorado!! Can't thank you all enough for being so kind. I do feel like a doofus because I can't find my way around this site too well. But I'll keep on keepin on!
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God

Just wanted to say how happy I am to find this site. Everyone seems so nice, however, I seem to hit chat at the wrong times. Thanks for being so kind and allowing me in. Winterdog, Im afraid I failed all of your pictures. Mental traveling is what I do most, just have not been to those places. Please tell me where they are when you have time.
Hi I'm a 55 year old female, married, and have been a resident of Colorado for 5 years now. A former resident of Texas, I much prefer the seasons and colors Colorado offers. It's interesting that I prefer to visit online rather than socialize in public, not sure what thats about. Anyway, Im glad to be here, hope to make alot of online buddies!!!!
