I want to thank all of you that posted comments on my blog from last night! I really believe in the power of prayer. I have a bit of good news in that my father-in-law is alert this morning and knows that family is all gathered around! He had family members that came from Ohio, La., Tx. and Pa. to be there just in case the worst happened. The doctors may remove his breathing tube today depending on how things go. He still has a terminal disease, but he may be able to go home and spend whatever time he has left there and not in the hospital! That would be what he would want I'm sure. Thank you all again for your prayers and concern!!
Hugs,
Annette
I guess this is only the second blog I have had time to post since joining, but I wanted to let all of my friends know why I haven't been online much lately. My father-in-law is in the hospital after having a heart attack. He is not expected to make it, and is currently sedated and on the breathing machine. He has a terminal lung disease so we've known that he was in bad shape for about a year now, but it still isn't easy to accept the end when it comes. We just went through this same situation with my father back in March, so it is twice as hard to lose another parent so soon. If you all could please keep my family in your prayers I would really appreciate it!
Thank you and big hugs from me!
Annette
