Been a gorgeous week here. After a much needed day of rain earlier this week, it has turned beautiful. Days in the upper 70’s with nights in the lower 50’s. On the news the other night, they were saying that our peak time for changing colors is mid- to late Oct. So I guess I’ve been trying to rush it. Maybe it will happen yet!!! Went and voted early Thursday, so that’s out of the way. Figure I won’t have to fight the crowds or wait in long lines on Nov. 4!! Something tells me the polls are going to be busier than ever if the prediction of new registered voters is correct. My oldest granddaughter is one of those!! She’s really excited about getting to vote for President the first time she’s old enough to vote! Hope you all get out and vote, whoever you’re for!! Been getting a nice steady rain since the middle of the night. No thunder or lightening, just a nice steady rain. We’ve really been needing this. Maybe it will help the colors turn better than they seem to be doing so far. Only supposed to get up in the mid- 60’s because of it, but that’s ok. Nice Fall day. Hope your week is going well. Got really upset with my cable company, Time Warner, about 4 or 5 months ago, and told them where to stick it! If they can deregulate the phone company, why not the cable company? What a monopoly!! Thing is, I find I don’t really miss it all that much. Mostly just my Monday night football since it’s on ESPN now, and sometimes my Saturday morning westerns on AMC and TNT.  And I’d like to find something to get a little better reception, my FOX channel doesn’t come in real clear.
