Inside of Me

 Down in the valley of the shadow of me
Lurks someone that most never see
It is a part that rarely comes through
Just as well, it might scare you
Thoughts that are driven through my brain
Come pouring out like the pouring rain
Little does the world know
Only what I intentionally show
Here I am playing with words inside my head
Hoping that somehow they will be read
Opening up just a little each day
Finding myself in many ways
People who think they know me really don’t
But that’s okay, cause most of them won’t
Here I sit and type away
Knowing that its all in play
So as you go through and read my words in print
Maybe somewhere you will get a hint
Of who it is lurking inside me
Or only who I want you to see
