Been quiet around here. Didn’t do anything this weekend but read and relax. Yay! Real football started again Sunday. Our two Ohio teams lost their openers, but what’s new?!!! That’s why I watch everyone else except them!! The only decent team we have is in college football, Ohio State! Go Bucks. They won their game!! Looks like Florida and the Gulf may be in for it again! The areas hit by the last two got lucky and I’m praying the Gulf area gets lucky again. Ike has downgraded to a category 2 over Cuba, so here’s praying he keeps getting weaker. Although those folks in Haiti and Cuba have really been hit hard. Hope nothing else hits them. Hope your weekend was relaxing, and have a great week ahead. Love ‘n’ hugs, Marianne
Finally getting some rain this morning. Everything is so brown and it’s been so hot!! Hopefully it will be enough to green things up again! Temps are supposed to drop into the 70’s too. Everything and everyone is doing well here. Guess that saying, be careful what you wish for, is true. It’s borderline boring around here. But it usually doesn’t stay that way for long!!
