It's much cooler out there this morning...74! While Papa was trimming someone's shrubs I vacuumed out the bed of the truck. I don't like nasty stuff all over the bottom of our grocery bags and dragging it into the house.

It wasn't as bad as I though it would be. I got up in there okay, I just had to roll over on my side to get out! We do a lot of yard work for people and it can get pretty dirty; not everything can go into a bag.

We hope you're enjoying your day and may even feel a bit ambitious, too. Take care and have fun with whatever your day brings you.

It was supposed to be cooler today but we haven't seen any of that yet. I did take Pepper Dog out to play ball for awhile, though, while Papa did some weed eating at the neighbor's.

We have someone else coming down shortly to have Papa "patch" a couple of holes in a pond he bought this morning. He bought it that way and believes tire patches will fix it. Don't think so or Papa wouldn't be so concerned about getting a hole in our pond! But I can't tell him anything. Maybe some PermaTex will help?

The heat index for today is expected to be 107! We got another 1 1/2" of rain overnight and expecting more of that, too. We hope but don't expect it to be much different for you. Just be careful when outside and stay as cool as you can and drink plenty of those liquids.
