I AM A 38 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 3. I HAVE A WONDERFUL HUSBAND THAT I HAVE BEEN WITH SIINCE 1982, WE MARRIED SEPTEMBER 22,1990. HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS. ALL OF OUR CHILDREN HAVE MADE US VERY PROUD.
A Mother's Child
By Mom
A mother's child is every breath that she takes, walking hand in hand, they are every step that she makes. And as their steps will grow to strides, still a child, in mother's eyes. Every ache and pain they shall feel, mother will share and with love she will kneel. She will pray to God to take care of her child, to protect and guide them through every mile. Her child is the very core of her soul, from baby in arms to an adult they will grow. For to a mother, her child will stay, the precious infant she held that day.
A Little Boy You were once a little boy Now you're a grown man. The military has you now Fighting for this land. We are very proud of you No matter what you do. Fighting for your country For the red, white, and blue. The military should be proud To have a soldier like you with them. But sometimes we often wonder If you'll come home safe again. We know you're there to do a job. We know it's sometimes tough But you are our son. We can't pray for you enough. And if the worst should happen And God should call you home We know you died for your country And you will never be alone. Although our hearts will break And our tears will always fall We will always remember You did this for us all.

I LOVE MY SON THE SOLDIER !
My son is a soldier
I can reveal this with pride
(the fear is hidden just below the
surface, I confide)
He's a real American hero
Who believes in democracy
(yet there is an inner whisper that
wants him here with me)
I am honored to be his father, I brag of him throughout the day
(but I can't help but wonder
if there's not a better way?)
My son is a strong, brave soldier
Who says he's prepared to die
(he's not aware of the late night hours
that I just sit and cry)
I wear a ribbon and a flag
Upon my collar each day
(but alone at night, I bow my head,
for my baby boy I pray...)
I love smiles, they are great.
