WASHINGTON, D.C. —The U.S. Department of the Treasury has decided to put Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. The decision was made by Treasury Secretary Jack Lew. This means Andrew Jackson will no longer be the face of the $20 bill. Alexander Hamilton, the nation's first treasury secretary, will stay on the front of the $10 bill. The redesigned $10 bill is expected to enter circulation by 2020, though it's unclear what the $20's time frame is, according to CNN.

She aided and abetted John Brown's murder of 5 men at Harper's Ferry for which he was convicted of treason and hung--- but not good old "Harriet". Why is our federal government using her made up fake name? Her names is Araminta Ross.
Barack! Get over here! Was this YOUR idea of a joke as a parting gift to the American people? Putting a traitor on American currency ain't funny. It's as distatseful as would be the placement of the confederate flag on the back.
Rosa Parks. Luther Burbank, Vivien Thomas... I could go on. These are all fine outstanding African Americans that did good things to advance the race in American society. They are far more deserving of the honor of being on American currency.
I find it deliciously ironic that this terrorist was an avid gun rights advocate and lifelong staunch Republican.
