I don't like lifting or machine exercise much. I know i feel a lot less "nervous" (nerves ;) after i take a nice long walk. i am naturally hyper and it helps me a lot! Even helps me think problems through and deal with them a lot better, too. It is so nice to get home from a long walk and be thinking about how what before the walk, was a perplexing (or worse) problem, becomes easy to face and get on through to the other side. At the same time i feel relaxed and mellow ~a very good feeling indeed.
