For first time I made a group and sent it to every single friend. I have a private page, but, the group is PUBLIC. I am announcing here hoping to gain interest outside just my circle of friends. All are welcome to read the whole beautiful book and maybe even be left with the proud, tender and loving spirit of Song of the Cardinal in ya :) Anyway, excited about inviting ALL my friends and hope this way even more can join discussion as and after they read the book that is only 157 pages long and so sweet and so descriptive. i never wanted to stop reading paragraph after paragraph and really is the only book i ever read that i never put down until it was done. it took over three hours :) it is a love story but endlessly descriptive nature scenery, names and a nice unfolding of such a beautiful series of events. I love Gene Stratton Porter, the author in 1903 for her beautiful descriptions and imagination and ability to sequence events so eloquently to surprise; i am forever grateful to her for that in Song of the Cardinal! Hope you join and if you do ~Enjoy!

This Book sounds interesting. I love to read. I have a couple of books on hand right now, but would love to read this one also. I'm new to these groups, so give me some time..! Thanks..
