How to Make your Background Transparent
Here is How to make your Background Transparent so you can see your Background Image.
You have now uploaded your background picture and checked what color you wish your text to be and then when you go to your profile page you do not see your background picture. To Fix this go back to Design my Profile and make the following Transparent instead of a color.
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Go to DESIGN MY PROFILE
5. To change the colors, you will need to click on the "Select Colors" link that will open a Color Selector window. If you have more experience and know the codes for the colors you can just type it in the little box beside the items, but remember to type in the # (number symbol) or the code color will not work. 
Now select the items below to be Transparent.
Just Click on Transparent in each box instead of choosing a color Background colors

Main item border
Bottom background
Top panel link background
Top panel hover background

Comments background
Comment header background
