Keep faithful in Prayer! We have encouraging news! We will meet on the lawn of New Hope church at 6:00 -- and keep our prayer vigil for an hour. Some may wish to walk around Monsey and pray. I'm hoping to incorporate more worship into our prayer time. If you can't be there, stop and pray wherever you are! All Israel will be saved! The Hasidim of Monsey will see the Light of Messiah! The Elders of New Hope will keep the church as a Light to the Jewish and Gentile community! Hallelujah! Amen!
----------------------------early 1800s when a fierce controversy over the five points of Calvinism and church governance arose in the Dutch Reformed Church in America. As a result, in 1822 a group of people seceded from that denomination and established a new one called the True Reformed Dutch Church. The Monsey church would soon be born out of that movement of secession, which is how New Hope Christian Church came to be among the oldest historic churches in Rockland County today
