after about an hour of really checking everything out, the mechanic thinks it was just a bad connection on one of the battery cables...had to order some part that will keep the cable connected to the battery stem thingy better, the mechanic rigged a nail in it to tighten it up and he thinks it will do the trick of keeping that working until the new part comes in...they couldn't find anything wrong with the engine...keeping our fingers crossed! It's a 2016 Jeep Cherokee, but only has a little of 34,000 miles on it...one (well 2) owner, (me & my hubby) has ever driven it.
HI Bobby! what a morning I've had!! went out to do a few errands (to get walking done while inside an air conditioned building...last stop was a discount grocery store, came out to leave and my car wouldn't start...tried it several times, had to call the hubby to come...he got it jumped started with his car, and while we on our way back home, I noticed the engine light lit up....so..hopefully it's just in need of a new battery and not a new engine! YIKES! he's taking it right to a car place to get it checked out...I will never go out on a Saturday again! LOL!
