I'm from Texas, grew up here, my family is here...when my husband retired, we moved to Florida, thinking the winters would be better for my husband, but, as I got older, it was harder to make the flights to come home to visit...my daughter and her husband were the only ones that would come visit us in Florida. My stepdaughter and her family live in OK, since we've been back in Texas, we see them every couple of months, so it's not only better for me, but my husband gets to see his daughter and her family more often.

Why did you move was it because of job or down sizing?
those BOGO things were my favorite too Ally. One of our neighbors loved going in there to buy little mini bottles of alcoholic drinks, LOL, she always brought extra ones in her pocket when we went to another neighbor's house for the Friday night "Drinking in the Driveway" get togethers. The neighbors that came to those, would bring their favorite drinks, (didn't have to be alcoholic, could have been just tea) and a chair, the host had finger foods...but we (the neighbors) started bringing extra finger foods, or snack items, paper plates, utensils, napkins, to help them out. We miss doing those get togethers, we thought about doing that once we got settled back here in Texas, but the house we ended up in doesn't have a long driveway, our cars barely fit the length! LOL!

I knew you would buy something, It's a normal thing,
I did buy a few things, they had their spring collection on sale for 66% off, and some other things I thought I "needed" for 40%...I bought several things but didn't spend much, so I felt good! I loved Publix, we don't have those here... when we lived in Florida, we had a Publix close by.
Greetings my way as I am enjoying this cool summer morning day into the 60's and the sun is shinning and the birds are busy at the bird feeder. Yes this is a glorious day. May you enjoy your day also doing this and that and enjoying your moments of life. Smiles Gloria
