Sis. Pam, it can grow in Oregon, but the conditions have to be just right for it io. This is probably why I have never seen it. It is beautiful. Bro. Doc
Besides the big White Crepe Myrtle, there are 3 pink ones in the backyard. This is the biggerst one in the back.
I planted two different colors in this spot in the front and I have one more that isn't blooming yet in the front. I don't think they grow in your area, zones 6-9 only.
Remember me telling you about my drowning in the boat.
I had just got a paddle boat to use in my pond. My first trip out Iwas having so much fun with friends it was a 4 seater. We had bottle water. and I was laughing so hard, that I swolled the water wrong and started choking and laughing at the same time. here we were in the boat and everyone worried what to do and In between my choking I was laughing.
As the day winds down, I just want to say thank you for being part of this little online family we’ve created. Whether we talk often or just cross paths here and there, your presence matters — and I’m grateful for each of you.
May your night be peaceful, your heart at ease, and your sleep deep and healing. Let go of the worries of today — tomorrow is a new chance, a fresh breath.
Wishing you a restful night and a weekend filled with love, light, and little moments that make your soul smile.
Take care of yourselves. You are loved. Happy weekend!
Dear Source of Light, Divine Presence, Love that surrounds all —
I lift up every heart connected by unseen threads, those I've met through screens and words, but who feel so real, so dear, so important to me.
Some of us are hurting. Some carry quiet pain, grief buried deep, wounds that no one sees.
For those who need healing — may your gentle light touch them. May their bodies, minds, and hearts begin to mend in ways they didn’t think possible. Bring comfort where there is ache, rest where there is weariness.
For those seeking love — may they know they are already deeply loved. Not just by others, but by something greater, and may they feel that love like warm sunlight breaking through the coldest day.
For those longing for peace — quiet the noise in their minds. Help them find calm in the chaos, and trust in the unfolding of their journey.
For those who feel lost — remind them that they are not broken, not behind, not forgotten. They are becoming. And that is more than enough.
Let us hold space for one another, with kindness, patience, and care. Help us speak life, not harm, to uplift and not tear down. To remind each other — you matter, you are worthy, you are not alone.
Good Evening Sis. Pam, I don't believe I have ever seen one of those kind of trees. It was cloudy some of the day, but now rain. And I sure hope that next Frday will be nice for the wonderful 4th of July things that will be happening. The parade in Harrisburg and the chicken that the fire department of Harrisburg will be selling after the 11 a.m. parade, then all the wonderful things to do in the park by the river. Today at the Catholic Church I found a really nice almost new watch for 10 dollars. I have to go next week and get a new battery for it. I think it wqs new for more than 10 dollars and from Cheshire to Mapleton 65 miles was Hwy 36 to the coast yard sale. It is Friday and Sat. and would take you about 6 hours to 8 to see it all. Have a great day tomorrow. Bro. Doc
Good Evening from Fate! The Crepe Myrtle is so full of heavy blooms that you can't walk under it.
There were beautiful clouds all around us and we only got a drop or two, enough to wet the driveway.
Now our rain chances have returned to zero for the week to come but I wanted to share my world with you!
