Throughout her recording career, starting in 1926 with thousands of
records sold and millions of fans all over the U.S. and England, Annette
sang with the Original Memphis Five, Willard Robison's Deep River
Orchestra, Sam Lanin's Orchestra, Lou Gold's Orchestra, Frank Ferera's
Hawaiian Trio and Rudy Vallee's Connecticut Yankees. Some
of the artists whose solos were featured on her recordings were Red
Nichols, Miff Mole, Phil Napoleon, Joe Venuti, Eddie Lang, Adrian
Rollini, Vic Berton, Benny Goodman, Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey, and Jack
Teagarden Orchestras.

In 1929, Hanshaw began performing on CBS
and NBC network radio. In the early 1930s, she sang on the air with Glen
Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra. From 1932 to 1934, Annette was featured on
the popular Thursday evening NBC's radio program, The Maxwell House
ShowBoat. She made her only film appearance in the 1933 Paramount short Captain Henry's Radio Show,
then was voted the most popular female singer along with male singer
Bing Crosby by a nationwide survey! On December 6, 1937 Hanshaw gave the
final performance of her career on The Chevrolet Musical Moments Revue all of these  performances can be found on www.youtube.com for free and on Wikipedia.com or on Google.com by using her name.

hello my sweet friends,

I'm back home...after a whole series of medical tests of all kinds...

The doctors are going to try to treat my problems with medication...

Given the state of my heart, they don't know if it would withstand anesthesia if surgery were necessary...

I'm still waiting for test results...

I'm very happy to be back on our wonderful friendship site, and I sincerely thank all the friends who prayed for me.

I wish you a wonderful week.

yesterday it has been snowing here....The landscape was quite white...

This morning it was raining rather hard ....this afternoon, we got thunder , and afterwards  we had  a strong wind during more than an hour...now,  the fog has rolled in ...

What a foolish weather !

je suis de retour a la maison...apres une kyrielle d'examens medicaux en tous genres.

les medecins vont essayer de remedier a mes problemes par des medicaments...

etant donné l'etat
de mon coeur, ils ne savent pas s'il resisterait a une anesthesie s'il fallait operer...

j'attends encore des resultats d'analyses...

Je suis tres heureuse de revenir sur notre beau site d'amitié, et je remercie de tout coeur tous les ami(e)s qui ont prié pour moi.

hier il a neigé ici...le paysage etait tout de blanc vêtu...

Ce matin il a draché...cet apres midi nous avons eu de l'orage, ...ensuite c'etaient  des raffales de vent oendant plus d'une heure...et a present le brouillard s'est installé..

Quel temps de fous !!!
