I learned to listen to myself
when advice began to contradict itself.
Life isn’t short on noise,
it’s short on inner clarity.
Some nights don’t need answers,
only enough stillness to avoid self-deception.
Strength isn’t found in speaking louder,
but in holding firm to your choices.
I don’t ask for an easy path,
only that each step
doesn’t betray what I know is right.
That’s enough to sleep in peace.
