Hi!  Hope Monday has been going your way!  I saw a touring production of "The Great Gatsby" last night  (inexpensive, last-minute "rush" tickets that landed me in the 6th row of the orchestra!)   Fun show! Great energy, costumes, and scenery. The storyline stayed fairly faithful to the novel!    xox

Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be my last day for a few weeks... vacation!   xox

I hope you had a nice weekend, and excited for this new week that's starting...we're under a heat advisory, I'm old, so I'm staying inside...I did go to my chiropractor this morning, so I'm good for a bit...

For those interested, here’s a quick update...

Pompon is suffering from severe hepatitis;

his pancreas has tripled in size and is full of biliary sludge.

Everything is inflamed...

and today, he has a large abscess on his head.

In addition to all the other medications in his IV drips, he is being given an antibiotic and a painkiller.

However, he has started eating a little again when I offer him his food bowl, and he responds when I speak to him...

Unfortunately, I can't be at the vet clinic all the time—there are visiting hours...

There is only a very slight improvement... but it’s significant...

It gives me hope...

I am very grateful to those who are praying for us...

Pompon means the world to me!
