Husband

I wanted to thank all for your comments on my
blog, got a big laugh out of them. Tommy, my husband, is great (most of the time). I had cancer and had to take kemo and radiation in
2000 and in 2003 I had to have triple by pass surgery and I don't know what I would have done
without him. He had it all to do, plus put up
with me and I could be really ill after the treatments. Just wanted to say thanks to all.
God Bless all, DeeDee:smile:

Husband!!!!!!!!

Hey, you guy, what do you think about a husband that will help you tear down a bed by helping you take the mattress and box springs off and pull it out from the wall, bring the vacuum cleaner in and don't forget that I helped him and then he said he had to go to town to pick up something and leave me with all the mess to clean up. Gals I don't think that is fair at all. They get away with murder lolllllllll. JUST VENTING. DeeDee:nono:

The Gift of Life
Posted On 09/17/2007 01:16:19
The Gift of Life.

Today - before you think of saying an unkind word â€" Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food â€" Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife â€" Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life â€" Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children â€" Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep â€" Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive â€" Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job â€" Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job. But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another â€" Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one maker. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down â€" Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around. Life is a gift; Live it; Enjoy it; Celebrate it; and fulfill it.

Five Finger Prayer

Five Finger Prayer

This is so neat. This is beautiful -
and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives

1. Your thumb is nearest you.
So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you.
They are the easiest to remember.
To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger.
Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal.
This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers.
They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction.
Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger.
It reminds us of our leaders.
Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators.
These people shape our nation and guide public opinion.
They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger.
Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain.
They need your prayers day and night.
You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger -
The smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others.
As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you."
Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself.
By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.
