Tread Lightly:
Tread lightly upon this earth, seeing, understanding but never imposing. Thoughtful, independent, be gracious in victory and defeat.
Free of possessiveness, so ease of mind sweetens relationships. Like the scent of a rose the untroubled spirit imparts a lasting fragrance.
Who knows how long I've loved you.
You know I love you still.
Will I wait a lonely lifetime.
If you want me to I will.
Love you forever and forever,
love you with all my heart.
Love you whenever we're together,
love you when we're apart.
For if I ever saw you,
I didn't catch your name.
But it never really mattered,
I would always feel the same.
Love you forever and forever,
love you with all my heart.
Love you whenever we're together,
love you when we're apart.
And when, at last, I find out,
your song will fill the air.
Sing it loud so I can hear you.
Make it easy to be near you.
For the things you do...endear you
to me...you know I will...I will...
Here's a poem I ran across that will, perhaps, start you week off with an inner smile.
My Happy Poem
© By Amanda R. Quigley
So here it is,
The happy one.
Today I'll have a bit of fun.
A rhapsody.
A melody.
My opus and my symphony.
A delectable, delightful treat.
A candy, oh, a wicked sweet.
My soul.
A stroll.
Completely droll.
Delightfully out of control.
So here you go.
My vertigo.
My trip through miles and miles of snow.
Hold on tight.
Don't try to fight.
My happy poem,
Just drips delight
Like honey from a child's tongue,
Or whispers of the aging young.
A lullaby that makes you cry,
The tears of happy years gone by.
Watch your step,
The path is steep,
So take a breath before you leap
Into a world of endless bliss,
As charming as a baby's kiss.
And right when you arrive right there,
You'll never leave.
It's true.
I swear.
My world,
My truth.
My universe.
My haven in my merry verse.
It welcomes you,
With open arms.
You're flattered by its mirthful charms.
So stay awhile.
Right in the shade
Of the happiest poem
I've ever made.
Contentment
To make good use of what you have and to let go of what you do not use is to live in a contented way.
When you decide that you want to feel good, and you reach for the vibration that feels good to you and you establish that as your Tone, either the people around you will be uplifted to join you in that vibration or, if their vibration is already very well chosen otherwise, they will clatter right out of your experience. But what happens to most of you is, while they are clattering out of your experience, you notice they're clattering. You begin to clatter too, and then they clatter right back into your experience, and you clatter together miserably and continually.
-Thought from Laws of Attraction-
Why virtual reality? When you talk about what you want so often what is activated is a vibration that is different from what would allow it to be. When you talk about how it's gonna come and who's gonna bring it and how it's gonna be--since you don't have answers to those questions, it just activates within you vibrations that do not serve you. So we were softly wanting to turn your attention to, "I want it because it would feel good. I want it because in the having of it I would feel this way." In other words, that "I want it because" was offered in the same way that we are offering this virtual reality--to point you toward a vibration that is softer and less resistant. We just think that the virtual reality is taking it a step beyond that but all with the same intent in mind. When you say, "I want it because" there's a tendency of saying, "I want it because I don't have it." And so, we were always guiding you to reach for good feelings and we're always saying to you that the reason that you want it is because you want to feel good. And, therefore, if you're not feeling good when you're talking about why you want it, it still stays apart from you. As you stand in this place without something, and your dominant awareness is that it isn't happening, then as you move forward it moves forward proportionately because you keep carrying the vibration of the absence with it as your dominant vibration. So you can't let it into your experience as long as its absence is what is dominant in your vibration.
(Today's thought from "Laws of Attraction")
Makes perfect sense to me.....
Everything's Fine
To a truly contented and enlightened soul everything in the world, which means the way the world is right now, is just fine. To the unenlightened and discontented soul this will sound like a massive avoidance. But think about it. Does the masterful actor go to the theatre for their evening performance, and on entering the stage start shifting the backdrop, altering the scenery and moving the props around? Of course not, they are totally concentrated on the role they need to create and play to the best of their ability.
So it is with the world. The backdrop to our life is the way things are at this moment in time. The props are exactly where they are meant to be at this moment in time. Many people spend their whole lives trying to change the backdrop and move the props around, little realizing the futility of the exercise. Yes they may succeed in altering an angle here, a minute part of the picture there. But all at the cost of the focus and the energy needed to put on their best performance. Little did they realize that if they had fully focused on their performance and achieved their own highest standards of excellence, not only would those around them be immensely enriched, but the backdrop and the props of their life would have changed automatically, as the invitations roll in to perform their life elsewhere. Excellence is a much more powerful influence in the world than discontent.
So everything is fine out there. No one said it's perfect. But it is exactly the way it should be ...at this moment. So here is the paradox of effective change - if you want to influence change for the better, then the most effective way to begin is with contentment with the way things are. The way things are, are the way things are meant to be!

Enjoy where you are and it just has to get better for you The next moment and the next moment and the next moment will be easier than this moment because the more you practice it the more natural it feels. But there is another big benefit that comes to you. The more you practice it the more you light up your light board and the more things in your life begin to reflect it and then as you observe those wonderful things then the more you reflect it. So the better it gets, the better it gets, the better it gets, the better it gets. And you reach this place where you don't feel unhappy about doing your daily work - you feel happy about so many things about it. In other words, you don't feel unhappy about not in this moment fulfilling every dream that you ever have. You feel happy about the opportunity to enjoy where you are. The joy really, really, really, really, really IS in the journey.
You want to get finished with your work so you can play. And what you really are saying is: "I want to stop doing this thing I don't want to do, so that I can start doing something I do want to do". What you should do is make every momemt a moment where you're doing something that you do want to do. No matter what. If you're at work, then you're looking for positive aspects there. If you are visiting with a friend, you are looking for positive aspects there. In other words, you're not enduring this uncomfortable moment on your way to another that hopefully will be better. You are MINING THIS MOMENT FOR ALL THAT IT COULD GIVE YOU. And once you get in the spirit of that, oh! THE YIELDS FROM YOUR MOMENTS IS PROFOUND.
