AN ANGEL OF MINE
Where oh where is my angel tonight
Is she hiding from me
Or is she protecting someone else
Where oh where is my angel tonight
I need her so much now
But she does not answer
My poor angel where oh where are you tongiht
Why have you forgotten me
I see that my angel is in need of guidance herself
She is weeping tears of sorrow for her loss
My angel I forgive you
But why are you in need of help
Why are you so sad
Your tears falling down your cheek are flowing into the endless stream
Giving the earth her much needed watering
As you are sitting high upon your pedestal of rocks
Hoping you will reach your destination in heaven

BUTTERFLY LOVE Swimming in a pool of clear blue water
I reach the surface for some air
And what do I see before me a very pretty butterfly
Who lands on my finger looking so peaceful
I lean in to get a close look and my lips tenderly brush against hers
And what is before my eyes is a sight of pure beauty
With shimmering wings under the sun
I am shocked and amazed and think this is fun
Staring into her majestic green eyes full of love
I wonder if this could be real and last
With a smile on her face, my knees go weak
As I feel a deep yearning and desire for a simple kiss
She playfully turns away whispering not just yet
Her glowing skin is just beckoning me
While all she does is tease me and tease me
I can not take this anymore I need her now
So I pull her towards my body and kiss her hard
When the kiss breaks away her wings disappear
And the glow of her skin feels silky and warm
My butterfly has been transformed
A new love has been formed
My day at the lagoon turns into a night full of love
As my butterfly is here to stay

DEEP LOVE
Deep within my heart
I can feel only evil
The pain is hurtful and unbearable
I am harming all of you that love me
I create misery wherever I go
I leave destruction behind like a tornado
And I whirl up anger that is uncontrolled
I am sending chaos to those who I love
But I am begging to change my life
I look towards a better future
With dreamy eyes I can see that there is hope for me
As beauty is there inside me
A better life than what I lived
A chance for a new me
One with peace and happiness
Where I can be one with nature
Where I can be an influence to others
On how life can change for the better
I now know what love is and means
I have known all along
My love has been shown to me through all the wrongs
I can have a deep and meaningful love
My love is true and everlasting

Destination Unknown
A lost soul alone
Wondering where did it all go wrong
Why must I be alone
Reflecting on her life that has passed by
Swinging back and forth on decisions
Holding on to the only thing that means the world to her
The red rose of life
Afraid that she may never find peace
But she hears an angelic voice come to her
Saying everything will be alright
You just need to believe
Since you have reached heaven my dear
A sudden peacefulness washes over her
Knowing that she has reached her destiny
A place above all else.

Your beauty shines on through all the scars
Your beauty remains in your heart
Your beauty came out when you were set free
Your beauty will stay with you
Since your beauty is filling the room
All the men wonder where did she come from
You appeared like an angel from the sky
But deep down you are still ashamed
Afraid to show your true self
Your beauty shines on
Like diamonds in the midnight sky
Your beauty overcame all
The clear water flowing down the mountainside
Brings you hope for new birth
As the beauty of mother nature shines on
The beauty from deep inside shines on as well
Let this beauty shine on.

My Haven
My safe haven
A place I go to get away
A place of beauty and magic
To help ease the torture I feel
A place of wonder to stop the pain
A colorful world of flowers and laughter
A chance to explore a peacefulness
A day with no more screaming or fighting
This beautiful wonder is where I need to go
A peaceful and serene place to ease my heart and soul
An opportunity to be rid of pain
Even if it is for a short time
I would love to stay here forever
But the crack of your belt across my skin
Brings me back to reality
Where the abuse begins all over again
I close my eyes and try to imagine my serene place
In the end I know one day I will find the strength to get there
When that day comes I will be happy and free
