“The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.â€Â  Â

Note:Â Â Â
Â
If we hear the voice of God calling, should we choose to stop to listen… and follow… God gathers an orchestral ensemble around us; instruments for His Divine purpose. Our lives are orchestrated by the Divine Conductor of the universe. If we hit a sour note, he may have someone else play louder to cover our mistake; If our rhythm is too slow, he may lead those around us to increase their tempo, thus encouraging us to keep up . . . even harsh dissonant sounds around us have purpose. We must pay attention and listen to the callings . . .

I Will Give You Shepherds
After My Own Heart. (Jeremiah 3:15 )Â Â
Â
Most people in the church world of today are on a near starvation diet, spiritually. Most of the spiritual leaders of this generation themselves, grew up on empty taco shells. My concern is for the flocks who are so hungry, that in their cravings to relieve hunger pains they are willing to eat anything disguised as food. I have no desire to appear insensitive to the plights of today’s shepherds and their sheep, rather, my heart yearns to see them all fed. But folks, the beans have dried up, the meat is infested with worms, and the pure milk of the word has long since curdled and soured. The English word “Folk†is derived from a Germanic noun, fulka meaning "people" or "army." But look around, you will see that as a whole, this is one sorry looking army. Is this really the army of the living God? If so, why are they feeding on a vegetarian diet of withering grass?
Â
This withering army still holds sheep within it’s flock that have not yet become too sick to eat. They realize they are dying and are searching for food; but many of them will soon stop searching. In order to feel safe, many of them will follow shepherds who speak to their fears; those who flatter and play on their insecurities; those who interject superiority; those claiming to be the “only†voice holding knowledge to all the secrets of God.
Â
Many shepherds instill the fear that if their “only words†are not heeded, everyone will miss it. And the flocks are full of both young and weary sheep who haven’t learned to fully trust the leading of the Holy Spirit. Their fear is not a healthy reverent fear of God, rather, they fear not being pacified and stroked by shepherds; they fear the times and the words of the false shepherds who cause their heart’s to exclaim Uh-Oh!…. Sure! These shepherds can lead their starving flocks into the glorious kingdom of God, if they believe Santa Claus will be transporting them on his personal sleigh.
Â
These shepherds haven’t been feeding their sheep a complete and balanced diet; one that leads sheep into one on one personal relationships with the true shepherd; there is “No fear†for those who are in Christ Jesus. Sheep fear because they’ve not learned to hear their shepherd’s voice. Oh, that they might “only†know the words and wisdom of God. Our Heavenly Father graciously supplies our every need. “His Words†are a lamp onto our feet and a light onto our path. He gave us the Holy Spirit to be our guiding counselor and helper that we might test the words of shepherds; the Holy Spirit lights the way for every single step we need to take, and is the greatest “Counselor of Wisdom†in all the earth, made available to all who believe.
Â
Why is it that most shepherds do not help flocks to grow? It is because they need the flocks dependency on them. Most of the leaders and flocks of this generation are co-dependents on each other for the mutual needs and love of mammon. This makes it deceptively dangerous and difficult for the new sheep and the weary therein who are searching for the whole word of truth. And if they do not give up, if they’re hearts remain open to God, they will learn to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow God.
Â
Why does it appear that so few sheep are using this gift of the Holy Spirit sent to us from God; a gift for the purpose of helping us grow up in our salvation and become strong? There are a number of reasons, but one is essential. God gives a conscience to all, but only to “His own†does he give His “Holy Spirit†to lead them. Even if we follow a leader who is filled with all the knowledge of the scriptures concerning God, we will not come close to the kingdom of God; not unless we are converted, sealed, and daily being led by the Holy Spirit ourselves.
Â
Many Christians are aware of the Holy Spirit, and can quote all scriptures concerning it. But they are not taught by their leaders to apply it to their daily lives in practice; others simply do not practice what they know. They don’t believe in it enough to think that they can walk with God without putting the voice of their leaders before the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Â
We are in the day of the new covenant under the new dispensation of the Holy Spirit. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
( Hebrews 8:11, Isaiah 54:13, Jeremiah 31:34, John 6:45)Â The Holy spirit provides to us a more certain and effectual teaching than can be derived from another. This could not be said of the old dispensation, as their religion consisted of laws and outward observances.
Â
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him. (1 John 2:27) This refers to all who are interested in the new covenant, and who are partakers of its blessings. It does not mean that all persons, in all lands, would then know the Lord - though the time will come when that will be true; rather, it is saying that in some way they would be so taught respecting God’s character and His will, that they would not need that aid to be derived from others; and in fact, we would receive a more accurate, and correct knowledge from God. The knowledge of God and of His Son and of the true religion would be deeply engraved on the minds of all; there would be no necessity for mutual exhortation and counsel.
Â
This does not mean to do away with ministries, exhortations or counsel. We are to test the spirits; being led by the Holy Spirit concerning all words, exhortations and counsels. We are to be diligent in searching for accuracy by weighing everything against the scriptures; in so doing, the gift of the Holy Spirit will confirm or deny every word, thus leading us into all truth. On judgment day, we cannot blame any failures that are within our own power and responsibilities on leaders. (1 John 4:1-2, Acts 17:11, Hebrews 10:15)Â
Â
To access the Holy Spirit which is the essential gift needed to lead us into all truth, and into the “ Kingdom of Heaven,†there’s only one prerequisite that is required; “Turn and come as a little child.†Jesus called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 18:2)Â Without change = repentance, there is going to be extremely limited access to the Holy Spirit, but rather, unlimited access to deception and to the spirits of evil. Either way, we are being led into eternity by the spirit of our choice, be it good or evil.
Â
The conclusive reality is this: Even if we are sitting under the greatest man of God; even if he is walking in the full power and anointing of the Holy Spirit and performing all miracles; even if he’s the most anointed man of God there ever was; should we sit under his ministry or right next to him, we will still not enter the kingdom of God without access to the Holy Spirit. There is no leader, and no doctrine that can offer eternal life. Even should we memorize our beliefs and doctrines in every language under the sun, that cannot offer us life. All this can profit us nothing! We must turn to God ourselves and come as a child. Every eye entering the eternal kingdom of heaven, will be the eyes of those who have their eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, our LORD, who is the King of Kings.
 Â
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)Â
False religions and false prophet’s akin to Satan are mentioned throughout the scriptures, as counter-fits to God’s Deity. The apostle Paul spoke of this issue to the Corinthians, saying “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ…†He went on to explain of those who were boasting; “ For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.†(2 Corinthians 11:1-15)
Unfortunately, “most people†look to those who tell them what they earnestly desire to hear; leaders comply, and then compete for the greatest majority. The majority of flocks follow shepherds willing to lead them to pastures of deceit. They say to the seers, "See no more visions!" and to the prophets, "Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!" (Isaiah 30:10 )
False Leaders toot their own horns; they also pay other’s to toot it for them. They all know most people want a hero, and that they desire positions close to their hero, even more so when leaders are famous. They’ll fight for positions at the top to serve their own need for significance - even as they deny doing it. When people begin pushing men of God towards a pedestal, and putting all sorts of willing ministries on pedestals, they are tempting the fate of pride; many men have fallen who were once commissioned by God, men who walked under God’s anointing. The growth of Pride and deception are unnoticeably subtle.
God often puts His deepest treasures in unlikely places. He sent His own son into Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Yet our world, even the so called Christian world values all the wrong things; money, fame, success, political access, scale and influence. The more “known†someone becomes, the more they are viewed as something other than what they are; it becomes difficult to live authentic lives. Image distorts reality. People often think the men our media interviews as spokes people for God are more spiritual, and are being rewarded for good. This is not the case. I’m convinced of it.
When we value what the world values we can be pretty sure we’ve lost our perspective. Jesus confronted the Pharisees for their love of money and positions over people. “What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.†(Luke 16:4-15) I’ve known people who wanted to be famous for their books, their teaching, their music, or ministry; most do not realize this puts them in the front line of battle. I’ve watched many of them fall, but have seen few widely exposed.
There are so many cover-ups in and of sin, that most of them are never heard of; (especially in high places) to honestly deal with sin would destroy the image of all the false illusions. But when corruption, deceit and immorality is not dealt with according to scripture, it spreads. . . It cannot help but to spread; it’s leaven! I’ve seen devastation, destruction and death left in the paths of religious cover ups; and a beloved friend of mine since child hood was brutally murdered in a political cover up. The point is . . .people are always expendable for the sake of image in the eyes of earthly powers.
Principalities and powers will never cease in attempting to pervert and bring down God’s chosen leaders. King Saul was initially chosen by God, but God‘s anointing departed from Saul when in disobedience, he set up a monument in his own honor. (1 Samuel 15) No one is immune to self.Instead of flattering either spiritual or political leaders to gain their favor, or a position, those desiring to be rightly led should be interceding for all leaders day and night. The bible tells us there’s another power that is vying for dominion of this planet, and everyone on the planet is choosing one of two masters. True glory, that is, true grace, will go up with the soul to heaven, but vain pomp will go down with the body to the grave; there is an end of it.
To those who say they cannot serve God because of all the church corruption, or because God is unfair, I say this: Be glad He’s not fair in the way that he gives rewards, because He errs on the side of grace. The sinner who sincerely repents and believes in God, but doesn’t do it until His last hour on earth, is one who will receive eternal life just as surely as the one who serves all his life. (Matthew 20:1-16) Even so, be cautioned; God knows and weighs the motivation of every heart.
The King of Kings knows the difference between lip service and worship; He knows the tears of repentance for having been caught, and He knows the tears of those who sincerely acknowledge and hate their sin. Once sin is recognized for what it is, one cannot help but to turn from it. I would not plan to put God to the test by waiting until the eleventh hour to look for salvation. He’ll reward those who worship Him in spirit and truth with eternal life, and those who don‘t with eternal death.
Jesus is persecuted in every single injured saint, and He will avenge His beloved. Any success gained by treading down the poor or even in stepping over the fallen without helping them up should cause men to tremble: if there be no danger to persecutors here and now, there is great danger yet to come.
WHAT TO AVOID
I have a personal starting point for ruling out deception and false prophets; it’s based on my personal observations.
(1) Anyone who competes for God’s glory by magnifying himself, his ministry, his gifts or his position sends up a red flag to me. Unless he humbles himself and repents, even if he’s the Lord’s anointed, he is left open to deception through pride; he or she needs intercessory prayer.
(2) If people talk more about the ministry of a man, and are looking to the man more than they honor, glorify and look to God himself, I see a red flag spelling deception. God’s name only, should prevail in our hearts.
(3) When things spoken by man do not in the fullest context align with the scriptures, or are incomplete in the context given in scripture, I consider that word false. Partial truth can only take you so far; if one isn’t learning to know the voice of God speak to their own heart, then it’s time to let the pure word of God shine light onto your path. Partial truth will ultimately end up taking you to your death.
(4) When a leader continually surrounds himself with flatterers and yes men, my heart grieves. Never envy, or desire to be included with those on any church’s inner circles. There are no closed circles drawn around those who walk with Christ.
(5) When the enterage around a supposed vessel of God is so great that they need body guards. Run! Some of those body guards carry guns, licensed or not!
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
For those who desire continued growth, and to know all truth; How do you find it? How do you walk all the way into the kingdom of God?
(1) If you hunger to know God, read His words and bind them to your heart; listen to those who’s words encourage your desire to know God personally, for your sake; Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. (1 Peter 2:2) Also desire spiritual meat.
(2) Look to those who point you directly to the word of God regarding answers to all the issues of life, rather than to the psychology’s and philosophies of man for guidance. Man’s ways are not God‘s ways. The wisdom of this world is inferior to the wisdom of God which comes by faith to all who ask.
(3) Search the scriptures, measuring everything against the word of truth in God‘s word. (Acts 17:11). Even in our utmost sincerity, we are all fallible: we’re subject to err, we’re subject to pride, we’re subject to being deceived, and we’re subject to making mistakes. I know I’m not infallible; as such, I implore you to weigh everything I say. Keep that which is good; discount anything that does not bare witness to your spirit or that does not read true to your heart. Set aside what you don’t understand and look to God’s word for truth.
(4) Be led by the Holy Spirit in everything. When you accept Christ, your sealed with the Holy Spirit. If you don’t feel access to it, then in faith, ask God to fill you with His spirit and to lead you into all truth.
(5) Keep searching for truth; though it may allude you, if you do not give up you will find it.
Perhaps it’s because I’m the daughter of a false prophet that I was drawn to study the history of major world religions and deceptions in religion throughout history. I’ve always felt deep compassion and concern for those left in the paths of destruction where church abuses have flourished. Each time I’ve met someone abused by church leaders, it has felt like a thorn in my own flesh; it penetrates my soul. But before I speak to that, at least a brief foundation should be laid. Understanding a little history makes it easier to understand what follows, and will enable you to better connect and tie together future presentations.
Of men in history, John Wycliffe, (1328 – December 31, 1384) is one of those I admire. He exposed some of the insidious, diabolical, early abuses in the Roman Catholic church. During the latter half of the fourteenth century, great forces were at work in England. The medieval world was coming to a close but the new world was not yet ready to be born. The black death had killed 1/3 of the population and though the crusades were over, the hundred year war with France was still in progress. Peasants were growing impatient for a better life, and Richard the second, the ten year old puppet king was on the throne.
The church which had brought civilization and order to medieval Europe had grown in wealth and power; much of that wealth came through emotional and financial abuse of the people. Because there were no bibles in the English language, the gospel became diluted with superstition and half truths taught by the church.
Voices within the church began to call for reform. One of those voices came from Dr. John Wycliffe. He was one of the most brilliant philosophers and preachers of his age. He taught at Oxford University. It was his studies of the scriptures that released his enormous energies. His biblical research convinced him that the church had long since departed from the scriptures, and he called for drastic changes. He was an early dissident of the Roman Catholic Church, and his followers were known as Lollards. The Lollard movement was a precursor to the protestant reformation. For this reason, John Wycliffe is known as the morning star of the Reformation.
John wrote that even though something is believed by the multitudes doesn’t make it true, stating that Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church. He stood up against politically powerful and dangerous men, yet would not recant anything he was teaching or had written.
There can be no appreciation for the Reformation until one understands the great spiritual need of the western world preceding the 16th century. No Christian, Roman Catholic, Protestant or Independent can simply gloss over the period of history from 590 to 1517. This period is a “black spot†to all who name the name of Christ, but it is church history.
There were abuses in the church that gravely affected the people. These were power abuses for the sole purpose of the churches accumulation of wealth. 1/3 of the land of England was owned by the church at that time. The church leaders were continually inventing ways to get richer and lived in luxury. There were numerous heart wrenching abuses; three of Rome's Scandals stand out to me above others.
(I) Immorality of the Clergy. Celibacy for clergy became Roman church law in 1079. This mandate tempted all kinds of immorality. “The abodes of the clergy were dens of orgies and corruption. It was a common sight to see priests frequenting the taverns, gambling, and having orgies with quarrels and blasphemy. Many of the clergy kept mistresses, and convents became houses of ill fame. “In many places the priest paid the bishop a regular tax for the women with whom he lived, and for each child he had by her. A German bishop said publicly one day, at a great entertainment, that in one year eleven thousand priests had presented themselves before him for that purpose. It is Erasmus who relates this†(D’aubigne).
(2) System of Indulgences. Priest within the church were selling false claims known as papers of indulgences. The people believed they could commit sins, continue right on sinning, and still enter heaven. They were forgiven if they bought a paper of indulgence; those who could afford it bought these papers as a license to sin without a thought given to any consequence for sin. Not unlike how in recent times, mafia figure heads could be absolved from the sins of murder, when combined with large donations to the church.
(3) Baptism of Infants. The church exacted a price for the baptism of infants. The people were taught that babies would not go to heaven unless baptized. I’ve known mother’s who believe that to this day. For those who couldn’t scrape the money together, it was believed their baby would burn in hell for all eternity. (Even the very concept of hell was not taught according to scripture) The infant death rate was high during this period of history, so many were the poor who grieved needlessly, imagining their babies burning in hell. That fear no doubt caused some parents to steal, murder, or do whatever, in order to prevent that slanderous lie from occurring. King David said he would see his own infant son in heaven when he died, (even before the institution of baptism) but this wasn’t taught by the church. John Wycliffe was teaching and writing about it all.
However, this wasn’t the first time the church was used to make money. Jesus was furious when He found the Pharisees using His Father’s temple to make money; He made a whip out of cords, told them to get out, and drove both buyers and sellers away. He scattered their coins and flipped over the money changer’s tables. John 2:14, Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15. And he taught them saying, “Is it not written: “My house will be called a “House of Prayer†for all nations? But you have made it a den of robbers.â€
It was the churches abuses and that of robbing the people that led to a revolt by the peasants; Wycliffe was blamed for it because he had been teaching the truth. The church clearly exposed, he lost his position at Oxford and was forbidden to teach, just as he’d been forewarned. He was even forbidden access to the libraries. However, his admiring, faithful students, took it upon themselves to copy all of his works and every single one of his books.
Relatively few peasants could read during this time, and thus, they believed what they were told by authority figures. Even so, Wycliffe envisioned improved literary realities. He came up with the idea to somehow, translate the Bible into the vernacular. He realized that the word was the bread of God and that the bible must be translated; all people needed further access to the word, so the truth of God’s love could be sealed to their own hearts. His students helped with the translations and he over saw the details.
Wycliffe taught that every man is a steward of the word of God, and is responsible to God for what he does with his life; all stand alone before God for his final judgment; Every man had a right to read the scriptures in his own tongue; Every man had the right to examine the scriptures for himself, so that the Holy Spirit could reveal the truths to those with open hearts. Wycliffe grieved for the people because of the deceptions of the church, and he realized that the interpretations of the bible could not be left “ONLY†to the church. Once the jewel of Oxford and throughout all England, he became a major thorn to the Roman Catholic Church.
Even after Wycliffe’s trials and death, his work continued to spread. Many of his followers were put on trial as well, and ordered to recant. Years later, in an attempt to erase his memory and continued influence, his bones were ordered dug up and destroyed. The Chronicler, fuller, wrote, they burnt his bones to ashes and cast them into a swift neighboring brook running hard by; thus, this brook hath conveyed his ashes into Avon, Avon into seven, seven into the narrow seas, and they into the main ocean. And thus the ashes of Wycliffe are the emblem of his doctrine which now are dispersed the world over.
Since Adam and Eve, for every good thing there is an evil which continues to pervert, cause confusion, and bring forth a counter-part. Religion has been evil’s most insidious avenue of deception. And it stands to reason that it would be; false religion is the most intelligent choice in which to compete with God for the hearts of mankind. There is truth in every religion, mixed with the leaven of deception. The problem is, leaven spreads. . . If it cannot be sifted out, what then? The answer is found in the word. Everyone needs to carefully examine the gospel of the kingdom for themselves.
"Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering." Luke 11:52 (NAS)
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly deciples of Mine. And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:31-32
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. ~ Colossians 2:8 NLT
Paul writes against any philosophy of life based only on human ideas and experiences. Paul himself was a gifted philosopher, so he is not condemning philosophy. He is condemning teaching that credits humanity, not Christ, with being the answer to life's problems. That approach becomes a false religion. There are many man-made approaches to life's problems that totally disregard God.
God Bless You!

NOTE: As confused as I am at times concerning the issues of life, there are some spiritual conditions of which I feel certain. That doesn’t make them true, only that I believe them to be true. I’ve decided to begin sharing them. Keep in mind, I’m only sharing . . . I’m not a teacher of the word, nor do I want that responsibility. You can not take what I say, or for that matter what anyone say’s as gospel. If you believe the bible is inspired of God, it’s your responsibility to search it out and to know it for yourself. As for me, it’s pretty much a miracle that I believe in God; but my belief in God is the one thing in life of which I am certain.
To be honest, some of my views may be considered radical, especially within the church. Understandably; they are based from my own life’s perspectives. That being said, it’s only fair to mention that I’m the daughter of a false prophet. I’ve given a lot of thought to not revealing that; for some it will discredit anything I say; for others it will be one more reason to ignore God. Still, I feel hard pressed upon to touch on the historical to the present, relating spiritual conditions as I see them, and to be authentic in who I am.
I won’t be writing to convince or persuade; that would be futile. Anything I could talk a person into, another can come along and talk them out of. To be heart convinced, one must be touched by the spirit of God. I’m writing to be obedient. This is the fifth day I’ve been alone with God, my thoughts, and no real distractions.
Edison cut the power off last weekend; when it came back, I no longer had internet. The cable co. came early Monday to check it out, only to recommend that I call a PC technician. My radio reception is horrid, my stereo stopped working, and my large screen TV went out a long time ago. All that translates to this: it’s been very quiet; it’s like I’m in the little house out on the prairie, only Pa ain‘t playing the fiddle. I think I even heard a rat a little while ago chewing on what sounded like a pipe in my attic. And I can‘t access my music even to drown out the sound of a rat. Are there pipes in attics?
At any rate, I don’t want my PC guy calling back to postpone coming out again, so I’m thinking… maybe I should write, because I feel it is God speaking to my heart, and that I’m really not insane, even if it should appear that I am. If I were insane, I can’t think of a better cause for insanity anyway.
I’ve put off that gentle nudging of the spirit for some time, and it has now become a prod. I don’t want to know what could come next. I will be addressing subjects as I feel led, things you don’t hear talked about much; I’ll first lead in with some foundational background. I hope to be on line soon, and to begin posting whatever is pressed upon my heart to write. I thought I should give a heads up to let you know, that among other things, I’ll also be talking about my beliefs, so you have the option not to read them.
(Tuesday, November 8, 2011)
Hello again, I can’t believe it’s Tuesday already. . . Time has flown by for me, but I want to catch you up on what I’ve been doing besides writing. All told, I’ve now had four different computer techs out here; each made changes. . . the last guy got me on line, and didn’t even charge. I won’t bother going into details; but if you know your power is going to be shut off for the day, make sure your router is plugged into one of those long things with lots of plug-ins in it. Aw! A power surge? My router blew up! Also, make sure your gardeners don’t cut a weird twisted looking pipe thingy with a ground wire in it - should they also prune your bushes. I was told a lot of homes don’t even have ground wires. Perhaps it’s because my home is older.
Because I love antiques, I bought an old, historic home. It’s shabby chic! Well, let’s just say I’m working on the chic part. You may need to envision it through my eyes to see the chic throughout. When I bought it, it reminded me of an old fashioned church. I had it painted again last year; I sure wish I’d kept it white. It lost the Currier & Ives flavor that I fell in love with. Now it’s cute.
I’ve saved the best for last. I needed to be absolutely sure it was going to work out before sharing. There’s a new man in my life! I’m almost embarrassed to say that I fell in love instantly. I spent four days with him last week, all day yesterday, and again all day today. I’m literally on cloud nine! He’s divinely handsome, strong, and much younger than me. We have some precious things in common. We both love to cuddle! His mother is also a school teacher. She was getting on in age, and before her time ran out, she decided to do something that took a lot of courage. She became artificially inseminated. Her son is three months old, and she call’s him Grayson.
Grayson, my little man and I will be cuddling together four days a week while his mommy works. Isn’t it amazing the things that can fill up your life when you fail to get on line? I’ll be posting new writes soon. I’ve never stopped thinking about a single one of you. . .
Love's Blessings,
The Prophet’s Daughter
Novenber 9, 2011 ( Addendum )
I'm humbled by all of your supportive comments;
when I began reading them, it brought tears.
I will respond to these comments as soon as I'm able to give you my whole heart attention. I'll be leaving my PC on and open to Boomer's, awaiting free minutes with two hands available to type. I thought I'd be here sooner, but you get a new man in your life, and they want every minute of your attention. I'm enjoying my little man Grayson so much! It's just so stinkin hard to put him down. Let him be spoiled;
My granddaughter came for the weekend; sometime after her arrival, I discovered I could not move my mouse cursor. Being unable to navigate a pc is frustrating. For reasons unbeknown to me, my cursor was one thing I always took for granted. I had little free time to get it back, but did try while my sweetie pie was sleeping. I just never got anywhere.
I tried everything I could think of this evening to get my cursor back; nothing worked! I finally went to my office desk top; it’s a dinosaur! Eventually, I found a simple solution. (In case it ever happens to you) Hit FN + F9. That enables and disables the cursor. I could have found the solution instantly, had I remembered the stupid thing was called a cursor. I’d been looking up, enable or restore built in mouse pad arrow. Ha Ha! But, I’m not laughing! I’m ready to go back to snail mail. My email is also messed up again. Nothing highlights to enable a send, a delete, or anything else. I finally gave up trying to fix it. I’ll worry about that another day; I will also respond to my messages as soon as I can.
Meanwhile, I have car problems. My car has been in the shop since Thursday and the bill grows daily; they’ve replaced one thing after another, telling me it would fix the problem. I took it in for what appeared to be a minor issue, costing $185 to repair. All the parts that have now been replaced have not repaired the issue; there were no others. My total is now $922. Yesterday, instead of giving me my car back, they told me I need to buy an additional part that will fix the problem. In addition, my new automatic garage door opener died the day my car was seized by those mechanical crooks or idiots. I’ve no idea what to do. They won’t give my car back unless I pay for the replacements that were supposed to have resolved the problem, but didn’t. They again are insisting, if I leave it with them, an additional thousand will fix it on Monday. This is at the dealership where I bought the car brand new.
Oh, what I thought was a minor issue with my car is this: when the weather is cold, it will not shift smoothly until warmed up. Had I not enjoyed racing my v-8 corvette engine, with it’s chrome hooker headers in my youth, I’d never have insisted on buying a stick shift in the first place. What in the world was I thinking? You can’t race a 4-speed Honda anyway! One can barely climb a grapevine with only 4-speeds?
This nuisance with my car is only one in a long series of similar oddities; some have been far costlier. It’s as though I were tossing thousands of needed dollars to the wind. Yet comparatively, these ironies are the minor battles in my life. These are my light burdens, the ones I can speak of.
The good news is, I gave little thought to my issues all weekend. I had more important distractions. I played games; Junior Disney Monopoly, Dominos, Your Five Senses Bingo; I enjoyed tea parties, read stories, sang songs, and danced with my granddaughter. Together, we celebrated love in my old fashioned swing, swinging by the light of the moon, under my old oak tree.

PS. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated; if you’re a mechanic please share your knowledge. If you know one, send him by. I need to decide what to do tomorrow. Oh wow, it’s now after midnight. So I decide today. As soon as I get this posted, I’ll begin checking comments. Hopefully, I’ll get some together to send soon. Love to all, and thank you for visiting! It brightens my days!
Sometimes, when I find myself going through trials I wonder
if others ever share similar trials. When a believer knows the
scriptures and has trouble appropriating what should bring
us victory. . . it's a test of faith for sure. Nevertheless, I'm
honestly sharing my heart and speaking to my own mind and
spirit. If anyone relates, I hope it speaks to you as well, and
that you'll find comfort in knowing your not alone. I'll touch
the essence of the matter, as the specifics are ill relevant.

Come ye Disconsolate
Friends, what is it about the human nature that causes us to not do the thing we know will lift us above a place of desolation? What is it that prevents us putting action behind our faith? I imagine the reasons may be as varied as the places of desolation we visit. Most of us eventually leave those places we find too desolate in which to remain; but what is it that finally draws us out? For some it is faith in themselves, for others it is faith in God; it is prayers of the faithful; It is not letting go of hope; it is faith!
"Come ye disconsolate" was written by Thomas Moore, an Irish songwriter, singer, poet who brought joy to many. I saw a bulletin today posted by my friend "Knight" and I was curiously led to this song. Moore's personal life experienced devastating heartache, including the loss of his five children. His personal wounds make these lyrics all the more meaningful; "Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anquish; earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal".
These words serve to remind us that meeting with God in prayer can bring healing to the troubled soul. Some of us immediately go to God with every burden as it comes. . . Sometimes it may take us a while; Sometimes we tend to hold onto the pain of our losses beyond an assumed, allotted time; Sometimes we revisit sorrow after having once let it go. Just as there is a time to mourn, there is a time to let go.
He has made Everything Beautiful in its time.
He has also set ETERNITY in the Hearts of men;
yet they can not Fathom what God has done
from the Beginning to End. Ecclesiastes 3:11
Sometimes, for whatever reason, even if we believe that relinguishing our sorrows to God will bring peace and healing, we hang onto our wounded heart of sorrows. However much we know it is not in our interest to do so, we hang on... If we are to be eternally free, we must relinquish them, and not look back.
My faith is being tested! It comes in waves from every direction. I’m having trouble shaking off feelings based on lies; yet because lies can feel so real, I feel the pain. At times, ( I'm just being real) it's like I’m attending a horrible pity party for one, and I can't get out… I'm praying to "effectively" repent for looking at the circumstances with disabling awe, rather than the awe of God's enabling power, and that I'll be given the wisdom and strength to overcome.
My faith is temporarily paralyzed by inaction! It's mostly because I simply do not know what to do! I'm sure God has a plan . . . I have no idea how I will get through this without divine intervention. I need endurance for the race of my life. I pray there are others willing to believe with me, just as Christ ever lives to enterceed on behalf of us all.
I Speak To Me. . .
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth
me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands.

WhenThe Father Remains Silent
When The Father Remains Silent
Like He does not hear your cries;
When you feel that He's not listening,
and the hope within you dies ~
When it seems He does not hear you
and you feel He does not care;
When you plead with Him to answer,
but it seems that He's not there...
♥ ~ ♥ When you feel He has abandoned
you and left you on the shelf,
When you feel that you're forsaken
and there's no one but yourself...
When it seems that your petitions
have most surely been in vain;
That's the time the Lord is closest
and you feel His deepest pain. ♥ ~ ♥ For when it seems that you're abandoned
and you feel the most alone,
You are sharing the same heartache
that our Lord Himself has known...
For Christ also felt deserted
as He hung upon that tree;
Till He cried in deepest anguish,
"Why hast Thou forsaken Me?" ♥ ~ ♥ "Know ye not that if ye follow
I will lead you to the cross,
There to know the taste of sorrow
and to feel My deepest loss?
For to share with Me in glory
ye must first share in My shame,
And you have to taste My sorrow
if you want to bear My Name.
♥ ~ ♥ So don't weary in your praying
when you feel ignored by God,
For it may be He is leading you
where His own Son has trod...
Through the Valley of Rejection
to the tree of Calvary,
He will bid you share His sorrow
if you heed His "Follow Me!"

I Speak To Me
And without faith it is impossible to please
God, because anyone who comes to Him must
believe that "He Exists" and that He rewards
those who earnestly seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
Man's Faithlessness and God's Faithfulness
Serve as a foil to each other, that the former
May appear the more exceedingly sinful and
The latter the more Exceedingly Gracious.
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial
you are suffering, as though something strange were
happening to you. But rejoice that you participate
in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be over
joyed when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12-13
A Time For Everything
To everything there is a season, and
a time to every purpose under heaven;
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck
up that which is planted; A time to kill,
and a time to heal; A time to break down,
and a time to build up; A time to weep,
and a time to laugh; A time to mourn,
and a time to dance... Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
Dear LORD, I confess my mess!
Is it Time to Laugh yet?
Will I have time to grow new Limbs
before You prune again
I really wanted to fly Lord;
I had a higher speed in mind!

I Speak To Thee. . .
Guess what God... I've got a bunch of questions!
But you probably already know that, huh?
Why did you make me so Curious?
Where was I before I was?

Will Prissy, my daughter's rat be in heaven?
How'd you get a donkey to talk ask
Balaam, "What did I do to you to

This poem fits all my daughters; left to right, the eldest to my youngest. I wrote it just after receiving a special gift from the eldest. She left her family behind, then took me to a spa in Morro Bay for a weekend of special pampering; we shared both silly, and serious talks, strengthening our love and bonding.
Memories In A Bottle
Of Precious Times Shared
First, this video is a must watch.. beginning to end..
Memories In A Bottle
If I could save precious times in a bottle
I’d save sweet memories of you.
If our earthly dance can’t last forever,
I’d still have precious moments with you.
If I could save precious times in a bottle
I’d save all your giggles, your every wiggle;
I’d take every story and every heart tickle;
Every heart print of when you were little.
If I could save precious times in a bottle
I'd take the delights of all we’ve shared,
From the very first breath of your scent so sweet,
To your very first tear, and your last tears shared.
If I could save precious times in a bottle
I’d take all your fears, bottle all your tears,
Carrying them to the heavenlies of heaven forever;
Praying God’s grace to draw you ever near.
Though I can’t save our time in a bottle my sweet,
I’ve loved you with my every heart beat,
And in my heart’s wish is where you’ll be
‘Til the earth, heaven and eternity passes. . .
Yet we’re gifted far greater than even my wish.
God sent his Son to free us from death;
He's offering us all of Eternity.
So look for truth in the heart of promised bliss,
Holy Spirit sealed by a rainbow's kiss.
