"The Sound of Ink"

The sound of ink reverberates
Running wildly across the page
Not audible to human ears
It is perceived by the eyes
And yet heard by the heart
Resulting in gasps of breathe and heart throbs
And at times pulsating veins
Written words consumed and devoured
Digested by the brain
Causing the eyes to open wide
The pupils to dilate and retract
Due to the naked truths so loudly
Pronounced by the ink
Words that have been carefully hidden
Unearthed for all to see
The sound is as booming thunder and crackling lightning
In the silence of white paper
The pen carefully orchestrates a melodious tune
That invites the heart to dance in a rhythmic flow
In harmony with the ink
Each must discern for himself
What the sound of ink will be
At times the sound of ink is soft
As a feather lifting spirits to a higher ground
At times the sound of ink is Monotone
So as incite the heart to sleep
At times the sound of ink is screaming
With anger and abuses
Making the heart shrink in fear
Making the hands tremble and the knees to knock
The pen maneuvers the ink
Ah but the ink has the power
The ink opens doors to minds and hearts
And the eyes remain transfixed
so as to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart
So you tell me what is the sound of ink?
