Smiles and Hugs

      Good early morning Cyndi - I just got my pumpkin earlier this week. Can't have fall without a pumpkin :) Did you get one yet? I put a fall wreath on the outside door and bought two yellow mums. That concludes my fall decorations. We'll add Halloween later on. I went to my appointment on Thursday. No shot was done at that time. He went over my scans with me and explained how the procedure will go. It did sound very much how you explained it. He talked of getting a numbing agent like novacaine. He decsribed a steroid being injected near the tailbone. He did not mention the word epidural, so I do not know if it's all similar or what. It did sound like what you explained to me. Oh, did you have to lay under a smal x-ray machine? He said that would direct him on where to inject the shot. Made me feel a little squeamish imaging it. He did say the insurance would pay for it every three months. I'm glad it all worked out for you and hope it works out for me too. xo Darlene

Hello Cyndi!! Did you enjoy your week? I think we might be closer to real Fall weather now! Boyd has been helping our neighbor some. Putting up chiplap. He always helps us, when we need help! Have wonderful neighbors! Bill, is taking Tuesday off from work. We will spend the day with him. How have you been? We have our aches and pain, but we know we are blessed. Still doing what we must, in our home. Still driving and shopping. So many, cannot! Hugs Shirley

Good evening! I hope all is well for you!! My sister-in-law, got dismissed again from the hospital on Wednesday. She is in and out. Draining the fluid from her body. Cirrohisis is a terrible disease! Was not a drinker. Just like lung cancer! I hope this is a wonderful week for you my friend! Hugs Shirley

We should finally see actual Fall temps this time next week. I'm so excited to hear this. The summer has been a bear. We got the yard cut this morning. It looks so much better. Hopefully this was the final one for the season. Monday, we will see a high of 94. Our beach vacation is 5 weeks away.
