I love all kinds of music -- classical, folk, Celtic, American Roots . . . . extremely eclectic when it comes to music and most things, for that matter.

I was an English major . . . . such a long list. These days I love non-fiction, short fiction, biographies, autobiographies, poetry, the writings of my on-line friends . . . .

Writing, Photography, Travel . . . . lots of things I'm interested in.

I am a very happily retired teacher who has always loved reading and music and the arts. After retiring and I rediscovered the time that I simply didn't have before and happened upon MySpace and blogging and rediscovering writing and photography and wonderful new friends all at the same time. I treasure the friends I have made there and the new friends here. Your visits and your smiles and your encouraging words are certainly a blessing to me. I've been married for almost 39 years (this month of March) and have three wonderful children and two young grandsons. I play the violin and belong to our church orchestra which is the size of a community orchestra. After not playing for about 20 years I got involved with this orchestra about 25 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't pick up my fiddle and fiddle around with it. And I love dabbling in other instruments as well -- mandolin, ukulele, guitar, penny whistle, and such. I'd certainly love to master all of them but I'm really just a dabbler. ****************
