Dogs, linguistics, languages, psychology, reading, politics, music, long walks, biking, My Boomer Place and decorating my home. I read almost anything from poetry to non-fiction that deals especially with linguistics, psychology, religion, society and history.

I wish to move to Lapland one day and live in my own house somewhere close to nature where it's quiet and beautiful. Among those languages I still want to learn are French and Estonian. I also would like to brush up my German and Portuguese.

I get high on intelligent conversations and incredible music. I appreciate the arts in general - as well as science and educating yourself. Although I'm passionate about politics, I believe we should avoid division along political or social lines and personally I'm always curious to understand the reasons behind people's beliefs instead of excluding people based on their world views. I love people who are kind, warm, open-minded, witty and have a great sense of humor. I don't only love dogs passionately, but other animals as well. Animal presence and spending time in nature, especially in the woods, are essential for my well-being. I also love chocolate, libraries, magazines, fashion, sixties style and design, Italian, coffee, raspberries and blueberries, night-time, (and consequently) sleeping in, daydreaming (I have a very vivid imagination!), salty liquorice, the colours white, pale pink and marsala, candle light, lilies of the valley, Finland, ice hockey, Eurovision Song Contest, snow and winter, My Boomer Place, Pinterest, orchids, a well-organized and clean home (but not cleaning!), Thierry Mugler's Angel Parfum, ETC.

Toxic (narcisissistic) people i.e. people who lack empathy and are difficult to get along with. People who have no depth and lack ethics or morals. I especially loathe sexism, misogyny, racism, homophobia and animal abuse and cruelty. Double standards. Narrow-minded people who are eager to tell others how they should think and live.Â
