What are the colors of life?
Could be black for the endless strife.
Red symbolizes the color of the heart,
Where cupid strikes with his tameless dart.
The sky may be blue, maybe gray,
Shows how life can change day by day.
Yellow in sunlight & spring flowers,
I bask in them, hour upon hour.
Green as the emerald sea,
Brings peace of mind & tranquility.
Angels with wings of white,
Lift me off my feet to flight.

The sun may be clouded, yet ever the sun
Will sweep on its course 'till the Cycle is run.
And when into chaos the system is hurled
Again shall the Builder reshape a new world.
Your path may be clouded, uncertain your goal:
Move on - for your orbit is fixed to your soul.
And though it may lead into darkness of night,
The torch of the Builder shall give it new light.
You were. You will be! Know this while you are:
Your spirit has travelled both long and afar.
It came from the Source, to the Source it returns -
The Spark which was lighted eternally burns.
It slept in a jewel. It leapt in a wave.
It roamed in the forest. It rose from the grave.
It took on strange garbs for long aeons of years,
And now in the soul of yourself It appears.
From body to body your spirit speeds on,
It seeks a new form when the old one has gone.
And the form that it finds is the fabric you wrought
On the loom of the Mind from the fibre of Thought.
As dew is drawn upwards, in rain to descend,
Your thoughts drift away and in Destiny blend.
You cannot escape them, for petty or great,
Or evil or noble, they fashion your Fate.
Somewhere on some planet, sometime and somehow,
Your life will reflect your thoughts of your Now.
My Law in unerring, no blood can atone -
The structure you built you will live in - alone.
From Cycle to Cycle, through time and through space,
Your lives with your longings will ever keep pace,
And all that you ask for, and all you desire,
Must come at your bidding, as flame out of fire.
Once list' to that Voice and all tumult is done -
Your life is the life of the Infinite One.
In the hurrying race you are conscious of pause,
With love for the purpose, and love for the Cause.
You are your own Devil, you are your own God,
You fashioned the paths your footsteps have trod.
And no one can save you from Error or Sin
Until you have hark'd to the Spirit within.

I am a human first and a woman last, between this two things it is my own creation

In a dream of tomorrow I have seen the beauty of you,
the inner beauty of you, and the sparks in your eyes.
In that dream I died, I died happy, smiling at the image of you,
the eternal possessor of my soul.

Happiness held is the seed;
Happiness shared is the flower.

I am a myspace refugee and I am happy
that I found this friendly place,
sending my new friends
waves of good vibs.

Trade your secrets and become who you are

Perhaps not to be is to be without your being,
without your going, that cuts noon light
like a blue flower, without your passing
later through fog and stones,
without the torch you lift in your hand
that others may not see as golden,
that perhaps no one believed blossomed
the glowing origin of the rose,
without, in the end, your being, your coming
suddenly, inspiringly, to know my life
blaze of the rose-tree, wheat of the breeze:
and it follows that I am, because you are:
it follows from ‘you are’, that I am, and we:
and, because of love, you will, I will,
We will, come to be.
Pablo Neruda

I open your letter
with parted lips
eager to read of
Your great love.
You have won
my heart
with Your Words.
You open me
before the world
a letter penned
on a lover's soul.
May Your unfailing passion
drip from my pages
like nectar.
Write Your love upon me.
“And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission
to do the sameâ€

However many holy words you read,
however many you speak,
what good will they do you
if you do not act on upon them?

May all beings everywhere
plagued with sufferings of body and mind
quickly be freed from their illnesses
May those frightened cease to be afraid
and may those bound be free
May the powerless find power
and may people think of befriending
one another
May those who find themselves in trackless
fearful wilderness
the children, the aged, the unprotected
be guarded by beneficial celestials

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil

Happiness is love, nothing else.
Happy are those who can love.
Love is all motion
of our soul as it
feels and perceives itself
their lives.
Happy is therefore
who can love a lot.
But love and desire
is not the same thing.
Love is desire who became wise;
love does not want to have
just wants love.
by Hermann Hesse

"The Seeker"
He comes...
He seeks...
He is a hunter of rare treasure
gold and diamonds He passes by
oil and silver He leaves for others
He seeks the rarest of treasures
a treasure once found He can not take
this treasure must be lain at His feet
it is to be given freely, completely, without reservation
He is drawn to the very darkest of places
yet He knows there is still the tiniest of embers glowing there
an ember that holds a fierce inferno within
needing only Him to give it life again
for He is the only One for which this treasure was created
He hurries before the ember dies completely
He has found the treasure for which His quest began
all these many ages ago
she is but a scared little girl
she shivers in darkness
yet reaches for the sun
she is a tender rose bud
petals curled upon herself
she is waiting for Him
to let her bloom
to let her be the woman she was created to be
she looks upon the world but hides from it
her tears fall yet she does not cry
her eyes shadowed by the hurt
of those who do not understand she sees, she feels, she hurts, she
dies................but not completely
He nourishes her with His love and soft speech
letting her know that she is the most beautiful of treasures
He breathes gently upon the ember that is she
allowing the ember to ignite into a blaze
letting her draw of His strength and energy
He lets her know that not all of the world is black
that not all tears come from hurt
not all Seekers come to crush
nor to just take a piece and run
He takes her gently into His hands
knowing the fragileness for which is she
carrying her from the darkness
setting her into the light
He lets her feed upon His love
His patience and understanding
His encouragement and wisdom
He spends the time needed
bringing forth the fire from within
He shows her the world
and how wonderful it can be
He touches her face gently
so she knows that some hands, while strong
do not mean they are brutal
He takes her to the highest mountain
over looking the sea
where she can see the glinting sun
upon the water
the salty breeze upon her face
the shade of the large tree
for them alone to share
He looks into her eyes so bright
sparkling with love and laughter
full of life and joy
she hears His strong deep voice
mellow on the whispering wind
"fly My love
fly as high as you wish
you need not fear the falling
for I always be here to catch you"

Speak to your spirit and build bridges
that lead to wherever your want to go.
Today
I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock
strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfil today.
I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.
Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or
I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.
Today I can feel sad that I don't have more money or...
I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my
purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.
Today I can grumble about my health or...
I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can lament over all that my parents didn't
give me when I was growing up or...
I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.
Today I can cry because roses have thorns or...
Or can celebrate that thorns have roses.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or...
I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or...
I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.
Today I can complain because I have to go to school or...
eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new titbits of knowledge.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or
I can appreciate that I have a place to call home.
Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped.
And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
What today will be like is up to me.
I get to choose what kind of day I will have!
We are sons of the cosmos,
but our conscience,
our soul, make us strangers
in that same cosmos,
from which we were produced,
and which still remains secretly
intimate to us.
E. Morin French philosopher and sociologist

The Green Tara was born from a tear of Avalokitesvara;
She vowed to be reborn in a woman's body
until all sentient beings achieve enlightenment;
She is the female aspect of the universe,
which gives birth to warmth,
compassion and relief from bad karma
as experienced by ordinary beings in cyclic existence.

Adagio
I don't know where to find you
I don't know how to look for you
But I feel a voice in the wind
that speaks about you
This soul without a heart
waits for you
slowly
The nights without skin
The dreams without stars
Images of your face
that pass suddenly
make me hope still
that I will find you
slowly
I close my eyes and I see you
I find the way
to the door from agony
I feel it beat in me
This music that
I've invented for you
If you know how to find me
If you know where to look for me
Embrace me with your mind
The sun seems to me extinguished
Ignite your name in the sky
Tell me who you are
The one that I want
lives in you
The sun seems to me extinguished
Embrace me with your mind
I'm lost without you
Tell me who you are and i will believe in us
You are music

Honor
Artist: Ludgero Mendonca, USA,
a great Master and Artist
of Drawing and Watercolors.
A Comparison of Honor.
The Middle Ages were a
time when honor was considered the most important
things one could possess in their lives. Honor
was the cornerstone for everything that was good
about medieval society and people would do
anything to protect what honor they had.
We live in an age where the brutality and the
vigilante justice of the knight errant is no
longer acceptable for people with positions of
stature in society. While courage and honor are
still praised by society, one rarely finds a man
true to his word regardless of cost. Chivalry
towards ladies is sometimes mistakenly decried by
those supporting equality for women.
And Courtly love, in it's modern form, is frowned
upon. Those who might have a keen sense of
justice often have only indirect methods of
fighting for the right -- legislation just can
never be as satisfying as clouting a knave over
the head with the flat of a blade.
Honor is not a virtue. It is the essential
quality that accrues to a man when other people
view them as being virtuous-i.e. they honor them.
The drive for honor earns a knight or man-at-arms
renown, his fame, his good name. Honor in a
personal sense is often confused with such
'public' honor, but I say rather that this is not
honor but integrity. Chivalry is a romantic
ethic, doomed to failure; Arthur fails because he
had too much pride in himself although his heart
was in the right place his mind never was.

Having faith
is like putting something very valuable
into a small wooden boat
and sending it off
on a cloudy, windy day.
You have no rudder
no remote control
no radar
nothing
but faith.

When the absolute night imploded
from a sheer excess of boredom and sameness,
when the highest pitch could grow no higher
the fattest cow no fatter
the meanest dog no meaner
the saddest song no sadder
and the drunkest lord of all no drunker,
when the dervish projects were finally completed
and the laundry carefully folded for the last time
and the few remaining invisible haloes
winked out in a darkness thicker than coal
it was a moment for the mystery of lines
of caves and sunlight
wombs and the sentimental bebop rooms
of mothers who might have been angels
faster than the speed of light
who might have invented the first music
who might have seen the original color
who might have shed the tear
that became an ocean,
who might have uttered the first word
and laughed the laugh
that caused the apoplectic happenstances of birth
to become a torrent touches and dreams,
and the pitiful desperation of logic
to shatter itself with its own echoes and conundra
upon the skulls of the unborn actors
waiting for the unborn audience to appear
somewhere there in the hypnagogic wilderness
where it all supposedly started.

Noi siamo…
Noi siamo come
il giorno
e la notte
quando la notte
incontra il mattino
stanca e malata
Come il giorno
incontra la sera
assolata e avida
uccisa dalle grida
Siamo come la gioia
del mattino
di un giorno nuovo
luminoso e tenero
che prende per mano
una notte che se ne va
muta e atterrita
Siamo come la sera
che si ammanta di stelle
piena di sussurri
che prende per mano
un giorno di agonia
e livido di morte
Noi siamo l'una o l'altro
tutte e due
e nessuno dei due
Sento che il tuo respiro
simile a quello dell'oceano
mi sommerge
e la luce del tuo sguardo
mi trafigge e inchioda

Pearl's dream
There's a place I must go
It's not a place I have seen
But I’ll get there in a blue dream
by Bat For Lashes
Souls and Rain-Drops
Light rain-drops fall and wrinkle the sea,
Then vanish, and die utterly.
One would not know that rain-drops fell
If the round sea-wrinkles did not tell.
So souls come down and wrinkle life
And vanish in the flesh-sea strife.
One might not know that souls had place
Were't not for the wrinkles in life's face.

The Kindred
Through a maze I found a room full of mirrors.
The light that joins us led the way.
So many realities, so much illusion.
Are you really here, or my mind’s delusion?
Where do I look; are you man or beast?
Will I know you as warrior or know you as priest?
We came here knowing we’d have to go to sleep,
Making it more difficult for our destinies to meet.
I’ve surrendered my fear, filled my heart with grace
And asked the universe to guide us to a place
Where if we open our eyes and take a chance
We will find it’s the future, and not the past,
That illuminates the pebbles on our path.

Dakini
I have visited in my wanderings
shrines and other places of pilgrimage,
But I have not seen another shrine blissful like my own
body.
Would you seek the sky
Come let's find a world
A grove all our own
A new place holy to us
Naked seeing in the pool
Gentle waters gentle touch
New songs we teach each other
Would you speak the truth
If you need me to lie
Tell me to try harder
Pull me into your eyes
Give me the stolen place
Guide me if you know the ways
Lose me if you can
Would I break the surface
Ripple across your thoughts
Keep me safe from your secrets
Touch me like the sky
Made into water search me out
Maybe I can find you

A Woman in Love
That is my window. I
just awoke so gently
I thought, I'm floating.
How far does my life reach,
and where does the night begin?
I could think that everything
around me is me;
like the transparent depth of a crystal,
darkened and mute.
I think I could bring the stars
inside of me, so large
does my heart seem; so very much
does it want to let go of him
whom I have perhaps begun
to love, perhaps to hold.
So strange, so uncharted
does my fate appear.
Who am I who lies here
under this endless sky,
as the sweet scent of a meadow,
moving back and forth,
at once calling out and anxious,
that someone might hear my call,
destined to vanish
in another

Love Song
How shall I hold on to my soul, so that
it does not touch yours? How shall I lift
it gently up over you on to other things?
I would so very much like to tuck it away
among long lost objects in the dark,
in some quiet, unknown place, somewhere
which remains motionless when your depths resound.
And yet everything which touches us, you and me,
takes us together like a single bow,
drawing out from two strings but one voice.
On which instrument are we strung?
And which violinist holds us in his hand?
O sweetest of songs.
Rainer Maria Rilke

Pass the poems please
Pile them on my plate
Put them right in front of me
For I can hardly wait
To take each tangy word
To try each tasty rhyme
And when I've tried them once or twice
I'll try them one more time:
So pass the poems please
They just won't leave my head
I have to have more poems
Before I go to bed.

Love always! Love more!
When love is gone, hope escapes us.
Love is the cry of the dawn
Love is the hymn of the night
What the streams say to the shore,
What the wind says to the old mountains,
What the stars say to the clouds,
Is one ineffable word: Love!
Love makes one think, live and believe.
Love warms the heart,
A ray of light more than glory
And this ray is happiness!
Love! whether we praise or blame them
Big hearts will always love:
Join this youth of the soul
To the youth of your brow!

Because I Am A Friend
If you laugh, I will laugh with you.
If you cry, I will cry too.
If you call me, I will answer.
Because I am a friend,
That is what friends do.
If you stumble, I will catch you.
If you fall, I will pick you up.
If you are lost, I will search for you.
Because I am a friend,
That is what friends do.
If you are sad, I will comfort you.
If you are angry, I will ask "why?"
If you are troubled, I will listen.
Because I am a friend,
That is what friends do.
If the world is crashing down on you,
I will shelter you.
If you feel there is no one here,
I will hold you.
If your day is filled with lemons,
I will make you lemonade.
Because I am a friend,
That is what friends do.

Yin and Yang
Imagine all the brightness of red,
Without a holding canvas or shroud;
The greenest green would be dead,
The golden yellow would cry aloud.
There is a balance in every mold,
There is white that blue may show,
There is a black to highlight gold,
And to help set the silvers a-glow.
In life too, there is yin and yang,
There is male and female form,
There is silence for every bang,
And rebellion within every norm.
The opposites exist without collide,
They balance out all there is in life,
They add experience and self pride,
And mellow with love, sharp knife.
That you may color, yin and yang;
That you may inherit from each side;
That you may blunt venomous fang
The two opposing worlds collide.
By Gaynor Borade
Hope abides; therefore I abide.
Countless frustrations have not cowed me.
I am still alive, vibrant with life.
The black cloud will disappear,
The morning sun will appear once again
In all its supernal glory.

Golden Path
A Message to Myself
and Rinpoche whispered:
Buddha seems to be outside
Your consciousness is in the state of projecting
One day you wake up in your dream
And everything is Buddha
The fields, trees and the birds
And not to forget: You are included.
All is one vision.
You and the vision are one.
Walking through the fields, Rinpoche laughed out loud:
Maybe I am right.
Think about it.

A Sunset is a colored poem that ends up Amethyst
AMETHYST
- The violet, purple to almost pink, that ancient name is
derived from the Greek amethystos, meaning not
drunken, as it was believed to protect those who wore
it from drunkenness.
The Greeks used it constantly
to protect themselves from overindulgence with food
and drink, as well as helps with spiritual awareness,
dreaming, dispels nightmares, and protection.
The distribution of the color, in striking patches and
bands, is characteristic. When the stones contain
inclusions, a series of discontinuous, wavy parallel
lines, visible with a lens, indicates that they are
certainly amethyst.
Amethyst is a spiritual color and a transmitter of all
energies. It helps repel negativity and provides some
protection. It also breaks up old emotional thought
processes and assists psychic opening in a grounding
manner. Amethyst is the color of peace and
alleviates mental stress.

Mammon led them on--
Mammon, the least erected Spirit that fell
From Heaven; for even in Heaven his looks and thoughts
Were always downward bent, admiring more
The riches of heaven's pavement, trodden gold,
Than aught divine or holy else enjoyed
In vision beatific. By him first
Men also, and by his suggestion taught,
Ransacked the centre, and with impious hands
Rifled the bowels of their mother Earth
For treasures better hid. Soon had his crew
Opened into the hill a spacious wound,
And digged out ribs of gold...

The Protector
With these hands I will defend you.
With these arms I will hold you.
With this heart I will love you.
When the fear comes, I will shield you.
When the pain comes, I will heal you.
When the sadness comes, I will protect you.
I can see the sky-high walls you build;
They are as clear as day -
Even unbreakable. Almost.
For I shall not just stand at the base
of these walls and watch as you seal
yourself behind them.
No, I will not merely knock,
Try again, give up, and turn,
Never to see the real you again.
I will break down those walls.
Smash through them, and
Embrace your soul.
I shall not judge, mock, or exploit
Your soul. Rather, I will provide
Comfort, and security - safe haven.
A safe haven where you can be your
True self without fear of ridicule.
A safe haven for you and me.
