Love movies with Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, (Forrest Gump, Sleepless in Seattle, Apollo 13) all the "Ocean's" movies, Julia Roberts, and my new favorite Kate Hudson; she's a cutie.

I had a friend years ago who turned me on to smooth jazz during a really tough time in my life. It stuck and when I listen to it, it seems a fitting way to honor his memory.

Fast approaching the big 5-0, and I'm starting to think I don't know myself at all! OK, I'm "Mom" and "Grandma" and a wife and an ex-wife, a cousin, a daughter and on and on.

My life took a strange turn a few years ago, and am now dealing with some health challenges. I've been pissed off, confused, overwhelmed, difficult and scared, sometimes all at once!
