I'm a mother, poet, artist, and student of life with a dry, offbeat sense of humour. I was weaned and raised on blues & folk music in coffee houses during the late sixties and early seventies. I'm the proud owner of a creative mind that demands to be challenged. Art & poetry are my reasons for being. I'm a member of WWAO. Worldwide Women Artists Online is an international collective of women artists showing & selling our work online.

Why Savvyology and what does it mean?
I write poetry and create haiga (visual haiku) under the name
Savvyology. The name holds special meaning for me and evolved out of my
personal outlook on life and the experiences gained raising a son with
multiple complex special needs.
Savvyology:
savvy (n)
Practical understanding; cognitive condition of someone who understands.
-ology (suffix)
Discourse; expression; theory; study.
My life is an ongoing study and expression of practical understanding and enlightenment. ~ B.Y. Penman
