I hope you had a nice weekend Greg, and excited for this new week that's starting...we're under a heat advisory, I'm old, so I'm staying inside...I did go to my chiropractor this morning, so I'm good for a bit... I love the colors in this layout! stunning!

For those interested, here’s a quick update...

Pompon is suffering from severe hepatitis;

his pancreas has tripled in size and is full of biliary sludge.

Everything is inflamed...

and today, he has a large abscess on his head.

In addition to all the other medications in his IV drips, he is being given an antibiotic and a painkiller.

However, he has started eating a little again when I offer him his food bowl, and he responds when I speak to him...

Unfortunately, I can't be at the vet clinic all the time—there are visiting hours...

There is only a very slight improvement... but it’s significant...

It gives me hope...

I am very grateful to those who are praying for us...

Pompon means the world to me!

Another hot week here..mid 90's thru Wed..then we will see low 80's for a few days following. I'm so looking forward to being able to enjoy being outside.  Did get laundry hung outside earlier, and I'm sure everything is already dry. We never got the forecasted rain yesterday. This usually always comes after we get the yard mowed. Time will tell, maybe a shower will sneak in this evening. I did have to water my hydrangeas and potato plant this morning. They are hang8ng in though given the weather. It's just been a miserable summer thus far. Maybe after dog days, we will see some relief. Enjoy the new week ahead.

Hello Greg, we're getting the outer bands of TS Bertha but just light rain so far and we can use more rain so that's a good thing.
