We will see rain this weekend..small chances next week too. I worked outside earlier..but just briefly. If you know about a dreaded plant that's very evasive..it's the Yucca species. They grow wild, and once established, they can takeover a large amount of space. I finally got the one in my flower bed gone, but it took a while. There's one next door that's trying to hang on with life. I dug what I could get up, and then poured salt over it. Now we wait. The house next door is now a rental, but the owner is aware of this plant. She's given me the ok to keep it under control. What's ironic is the former owner of this home..she had a guy come here in 2007 with his backhoe and he pulled it up..roots and all. Swore it would never grow back. Didn't happen.
