Earlier this evening I was working with a picture of a rescue unit that was delivered in 1963 (the year I was born) to a department in Ohio. Normally I look at age as just a number - which it is - but I started thinking as I was looking at the photo that if I was a 43 year-old vehicle I would be considered an antique by some.  I can just hear it now. . ."Walter's an antique!"

. . .For all of my new found friends here at my Boomer Place is that Christmas 2006 be the best you've ever had! I know it will be for me because it will be my first one together with my wife -- AKA Walterslady50. We don't have any real big plans with the possible exception of our Christmas Day meal. . .turkey with all of the trimmings! New Year's Eve will also be very special for us because that afternoon at 4:30 we will have been married for one year!
From our home to yours, have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY, PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!! 
As I mentioned - last weekend I think - things have been jumping with me here of late so I haven't been able to get on-line as much as I would have liked. That doesn't mean I haven't been thinking about all of my friends here on Boomer Place. . .so I wanted to take this break to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous New Year! Hopefully things will slow down later this week when I get off for my holiday break (no more work until Tuesday -- YES!)
