Hi Katfish
I personally have never had cartilage issues with my knees, however one of my colleagues at the fire department has due to a fall he took on a fire scene. I will touch base with him and see what information he can give me (he had to have surgery) and report back.

Walter

Hi everyone. I just got my x rays back from my doctor and I have severe Arthritis in my knees and all the Cartlege is gone . So I have no idea what they are going to do. I am not going ot let them cut on me. NO way . I have no one to take care of me and I am not goingto a nursing home. Has anyone ever been though this. Thanks Sharon

Hi katfish
katfish, I'm sorry about your knees. I too have arthritis, lucky for me I have not lost my cartilage yet. Or I should say not yet or not that I have been told. The Dr. found that I have something wrong with my knees, but he hs not told me what he plans on doing about it. I have 2 friends who have had surgery done for their knees. I can't blame you for not wanting to have surgery, but I would rather have surgery than to live with the pain and end up in a wheel chair. Good luck and know that my husband and I will be praying for you. Mary Lou
