OPA!??

I feel I should explain myself because I like to end my posts and comments with the word "Opa."

Ok, first of all I'm not Greek.
Second, I should know better than to use a word that I don't positively know the meaning of...however, it is near and dear to my heart.

I have been hearing this word for the last year and a half every time my 19 yr. old daughter comes bouncing through the front door. She answers the phone with "Opa", she ends the conversation with "Opa", she blurts "Opa" as she waves her hand when she leaves.

Lani is a beautiful and happy teen-ager with joy in her heart, and what she is saying when she says "Opa" is, "I'm happy, Be happy, All is well. Party On!"

It brings a smile to my face and lights up my world when I hear her say (you got it :-)

"Opa!"
