I love most, even the badly made science fiction films that they show on tv. I like a great comedy, a good drama, and an exciting action film.
I'd like to recommend "The Departed," which I saw this weekend. Great acting, great direction. About what you'd expect from the talent associated with this film.

I live all music from Baroque to Modern Rock. I dislike hard angry rap music that tends to display anger toward women or the police. I like music to relax with, not to get me mad or sad. Life has a way of doing that on its own.

The Bible, The Analects of Confucius, The Tao Te Ching, The Koran, and of course the most underrated and least read of all, the Comics in the newspapers. I also like a good Science Fiction or Fantasy tale. I also loved "A Confederacy of Dunces," and "Good Omens." Both had me laughing out loud. An example of Good satiric writing. Another great book is "The Ginger Man,"by J.P. Dunleavy. I haven't read it for years, but remember it well

I love a good book, a good film, and spending time at the beach. There's always been a strong attraction about the ocean, so that I am never too far from it, physically or otherwise.

I am 51 years old; am a college graduate, with a few years of Post Graduate study.
I grew up in Newark, NJ, went to College in ME, moved down to Boston for Grad School, and moved to L.A. in 1984
I enjoy Los Angeles, but do miss New England.
The fall there is great, and its my favorite season.
