Freelance News Photographer, Agence France Presse, Paris France assigned to the Washington, D.C. office. Retired from the US Government, a former United States Marine and a Viet Nam Veteran. I spent 11 years working on Capitol Hill as a Special Assistant to two United States Senators and worked on the staffs of three Congressional Committees in the U.S. House of Representatives. I served 7 years on the White House Staff as a Special Assistant to the President of the United States (Ronald Reagan) and 5 years in Japan doing Public Relations for the Yomiuri Tokyo Giants Baseball Team. This was followed by 5 years in Korea teaching American Politics and Government at Chungnam University in Taejon, South Korea. I have a BS in Political Science. I minored in Communications. As a Special Assistant to a former President of the United States and two United States Senators, I was also a Speechwriter. As a staff member to the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations from 1977 to 1979, I assisted in writing the final report on the Committee’s findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy which the movie “JFK” by Oliver Stone was based. While with the Tokyo Giants, I wrote press releases, player profiles and fact sheets concerning team activities, which were made available to the Japanese media. In addition, I provided to the press up-dated on-field statistics. I assisted in team travel arrangements and lodging accommodations when the Giants played at host cities and stadiums. I was involved in marketing of concession products carrying the team logo and was the liaison for the two American players of the Yomiuri Tokyo Giants.
