Well lets see I am a divorced mother of 4.
Two sons 31 and 25
Two daughters 21 and 14
Two daughter in laws
One son in law
4 grandsons with the 5th due in December
3 granddaughters
All but my oldest son lives here in the same rural part of Northeast Arkansas that I am in. Oldest son is in Colorado.
Life for me is good but hard at the same time as I am on disability and a very fixed income which keeps me from doing a lot of the things that I might would like to but I take joy in the simple things...a cool afternoon watching the grandchildren playing in the yard, the smell of food cooking on the grill, the laughter of my kids, who can be just a bit nutty at times.
Life has not turned out to good for me in the relationship department so the past 15 years of my life have been spent with my children.
In 2009 I had to move my mother into my home because of Alzheimer and cared for her until 2011...she passed the day after Mothers Day with all of us in her room. I am so grateful to have had those years with her and to be able to be there as she always had been for me. I miss her dearly.
I have a strong relationship with God but would not call myself your typical "Christian". I feel that term has been overused and abused. But I do believe in Jesus, just not organized religion.
People often refer to me as a good listener, understanding, non judgmental to name a few. I just believe in treating others with the same respect I would like from them.
