Don't really have a favorite, I like romantic ones and tear jerkers

All kinds,especially from my teenage years, I enjoy classical and ballet, not much on opera. Just don;t ask me about the singers of today nor the words or titles to the songs. I'm really not INTO it that much, music is background for me.

Romance, not too smutty though, I enjoy Debbi McComber, Nora Roberts, especially their continuing stories. I also lke some mystery writers, I enjoy James Patterson and Patricia Caldwell

Sewng, quilting, crafting, knitting, reading, dogs and animals, a little gardening excluding weeding, I enjoy craft shows, new restaurants, cook-outs, travel, vacations just to name a few.

I am widowed, (7 Years) I am short, just about 5" a little overweight, I suppose now I will be watching my weight for the rest of my life. I remember what it was like to be young and slim. I have a lot of couples friends in my neighborhood that I socialize with in the summer months, backyard cookouts mostly. I enjoy drinking, not the drunk type though, I am the newsletter editor of my local quilt guild and I do have a part-time job, selling vac cleaners and sewing machines. It's just pocket money since most of it goes back to the shop for the things I purchase. I have an extensive collection of fabric and patterns that if I never bought another thing I'd have enough to last me my lifetime. I am a compulsive shopper and doer. I have four dogs and a parrot that tie me down from doing a lot more impulsive travelling which I used to enjoy. Basically I am a happy person, my daughter lives near me as does her youngest daughter, her oldest lives with me and all three of them are very important to me. My son and his family live in NC, I don't get to see much of them, mostly my own doing, but it's hard leaving the animals. Plus I always seem to need to do some kind of house maintenance that now takes me so much longer to get done than it did a few years back. Age is slowing me down I'm afraid

Animals, chick flicks ( Lifetime TV), spring days and blooming flowers, happy gatherings, tea with my lady friends, sewing and quilting with my lady friends and with my grandaughter. Accomplishing something myself, like finally finishing a quilt, or redecorating a room. And actually getting the house clean enough for company.

Aging women trying to look like 20 year old bimbos. Baggy clothes showing underwear, male or female. Rude people. Peoples attitudes toward people who don't think the same as they do. Tolerance toward illegal immigrants and intolerance toward those born here that deserve more. Dead beat Dads (or moms) Vulgar public displays of affection.The disrespect of today's youngergeneration oh yeah one more the language used on Myspace, some of these are our children for crying out loud, how did we ever let that happen. That should do for now.
