Designated by Congress in 1999,  National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM) is celebrated annually in May to honor, remember, and recognize current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those who died in service. 

Key Dates:

May 1: Loyalty Day

First Friday in May: Military Spouse Appreciation Day

May 8: VE (Victory in Europe) Day

Armed Forces Day is the third Saturday in May

Last Monday in May: Memorial Day

Happy May Day!  It's Friday too!  And the rain is already here today.  

If you are thirsty, just tilt your head back and open your mouth but don't drown!  

Are you going outside today, don't forget your Fisherman's hat!  It should keep you dry!  

Sometimes it's fun just to march in the rain and through the puddles with friends of course.  

Have you ever played "Hide & Seek" in the rain or just jumped for joy because it is raining?
