good morning! we woke up to a beautifully cooler morning, so I decided to turn off the AC and opening up the windows. When I opened the front bedroom's window, low and behold, there's a big ol' dead rat laying out in the yard, 2 ft from the window! Guess a kitty cat or something caught it, but decided not to eat it? The other day, I took this picture of a Monarch butterfly on my Passion Vine. I got a video too, but boy do they move all around a lot.
Isn't this a cute idea? If you have young grandchildren, this would be a fun project to do with them and then video them.
I love Monarch butterflies and beautiful flowers too, but you already know that. It has just been too hot here for flowers or roses to bloom.
