Only a little over a week left of treatments. Most of the Haze is gone, but still have a bit, especially under bright lights( I know, just STAY AWAY from bright lights!) I'm now able to see colors I never even knew existed!! A Cousin said it took him MONTHS to heal, so I'm way ahead of him. At first I was worried that I was gonna be one of those ones that just didn't work out right. I have a follow up Dr's appointment in a couple weeks when he'll see if he did everything right.
Have a Perfectly acceptable Weekend. Be Blessed my Boomer Buddy
I'm not real sure if they all do this now, but my Eye doctor offered me a short clip of the procedure he performed on me about a week ago.
Also there was a bit of confusion with the Steroid calculations & I ran into a bit of a glitch. Seema as though I was afflicted with something affecting less that 3% of patients - Semi-temporary X-Ray vision. I found that out with an 'incident' only a couple days ago.
So, I've been banned from all girls' Sporting events until the Ophthalmologist can get back in to disable it. A little over 2 more weeks of treatment, but I'm slowly & gradually getting there.
Okay they BLASTED out the Cataract material & washed & scooped out the debris & then slid a clean optic lens into the vacant area! Didn't feel a thing(I was pumped FULL of Happy Juice at the time. In fact the only real Pain was from removing the tape that held in the IV! =Still not out of the dark yet. I have to use Powerful
eyedrops regularly to fend off Infection. There are 3 different components, one being a Steroi! I just hope I don't get those Muscle-Eyes! - I still have a white smokey haze in my field of vision. It could take weeks, a month or even longer to clear away! It's very difficult typing this thing, it's hard to see clearly with the haze! Just wanted everyone to know I made it through & I missed all of you. I'll write more when I'm able & can see what the heck I'm doing, okay? Sorry for the typos, I didn't 'see' any.
