we got rain this morning, the same system that brought the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and the part of Texas known as the Hill country. So many people, adults as well as children have lost their lives during the severe rains and flooding, even away from the camps, there were homes swept off they foundations, cars with people in them trying to evacuate...it's a sad time here for us Texans. If you are a praying person, please lift one up, (or a few) if not, just send out positive thoughts...thank you
Hello! over the past few days, we've had lots of clouds, not much rain though, but it made a morning walk enjoyable I knocked out 2 miles, got laundry finishing up, but I don't have the energy to make my bed yet! LOL!
I do believe the Fireworks will last all weekend! Did you celebrate with fireworks or watch them on TV???
We did not have to invite our dogs to come lay with us. They did not like all the fireworks!
I don't think the cats in the neighborhood enjoy the fireworks a lot either.
Did anyone go to the beach to celebrate and see fireworks?
What is the most unique place you have been or the most memorable celebration that you remember?
Whether your weekend was spent celebrating or cleaning house or reading a book, I hope you shared love with everyone you encountered and made more wonderful memories. Happy Caturday !
Hello Cheryl.Oh, those fireworks sound pretty but I’m sorry the mosquito’s spoilt your time outdoors. Well, not much going on here at the moment. We are still waiting for that elusive rain. The long range forecast doesn’t show much. Most days are overcast with heavy cloud cover but nothing comes of it. I took my little dog to the vet last Thursday for her Cartrophen injection to help with her joints. It certainly does help her. She is well over 15 years so is doing very well. I hope the temps have cooled down for you now. Those hot days are unpleasant. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs Pat.
Happy 4th of July Cheryl. I'm staying home today later they will be setting off fire works from town and I can watch from my front porch. We don't have a mosquito issue herem
